I walked into the redcoat camp with an air of someone who knew where they were meant to be

I was holding my breath hoping I could get to the ammunition tent before a redcoat spotted me and raised they alarm, and that would fuck up my plan and possibly end my life .

I sighed realising I'd almost ran out of breath .

"Let's do this " I say to myself spotting the ammunition tent at the back of the camp

If I run around the outside of the forest I might be able to make it to the tent set it on fire and get as far away from the camp as possible

But I'm going to be a little more open and easier to spot .

My impulsiveness wins.

I begin to run evening my breath out as I sprint

I slow as I come around the back of the tent .

I'm just out of reach, I can come out of the forest and risk being caught or I can turn around and go back to camp

Screw that

I creeped forward checking around me for redcoats

I smile and crouch down as I pull a box of matches out of my pocket

This is for my father

I striked the match first and it lit

This is for my brothers childhood

"Oi what do you think your doing here?" A redcoat shouted running at me pistol in hand

This is for my unborn siblings

(This is true as Hamilton's mother had many miscarriages)

He runs forward planing on striking me across the head

I dropped the match and growled .

I grabbed his arm pulling him over my head and onto the floor

I heard his grunt of pain as his elbow clicked from it's sudden dislocation

"Before I kill you I have a question for you " I say pressing his arm harder

"What?!?" He screams out through gritted teeth

"How did you meet your wife ?" I ask

"How... How did you know I was married ?" He asked back confused on how I knew something so personal

"Your wedding ring " I say plainly

"She was on a row boat and ... It capped she was in the water unable to swim .... I jumped in and rescued her ..... We've been married 4 years and she's expecting soon " he rambled on

I struck another match while he rambled

"Go " I tell him "I'd love to have a child , so go be a part of yours , you'll never get this chance again " I look him in the eye as I dropped the match

"Thank you " I hear him say as I walk back to camp

I didn't care

I smiled as I heard the first explosion from the redcoat camp , the screaming and yelling......

I breathed out

okay I know this is short but it ended up different from my original plan which was to have the guy be killed the blood to splatter and for Hercules to question her about it

Also I need advice, I'm thinking of keeping John alive instead of killing him of , I want a vote
