Prologue

You will not understand the concept of this story if you don't play the video first before reading.

Picking up the remote control, he turned off the television and placed it beside him. He relaxed into the couch, rubbing his fingers across his chin as he stare blankly at the screen.

"Sorry, I didn't notice the dash cam"

A soft male voice murmured behind him and he signed, rubbing his forehead then ran his fingers though his hair. "Did you at least wear a facial prosthetic?" He asked and the male nodded, responding with a "Yes"

"The police are closing in on us, what if they figure out how the one in Texas works?" Another male voice muttered behind him and his mouth twisted in a wry smile.

"Then we will just have to step up, and figure a new tech to steal the cars" He answered.

"Ezra will figure something out. These fuckers are not us taking us down" A female voice mumbled behind him and he slightly nodded. He stood up and turned around, facing his gang with a smirk on his face. "But first, a small celebration for stealing twenty cars and a lot of goodies last night"

The two males in front of him fist bump each other while chuckling, and the female rolled her eyes, with a grin on her face.

The doorbell rang and the youngest male in the group rushed out to go get it.

"Louis did you get the beers?" He asked as Louis, him and the female made their way from the living room, towards the kitchen.

"Chill, Malik I didn't forget" Louis answered with a light chuckle as he walked towards the refrigerator and opened it, then took out six-pack of beer and closed the refrigerator door with his other hand while Zayn and the female sat on the stools at the counter.

Louis placed the beers on the countertop and reached into one of the drawers for a bottle opener then pried open, three bottles of the beers. They each grabbed a bottle and took a sip.

The youngest male came back with two boxes of pizzas in his hands and placed them on the countertop. He was about to grab one of the beers and Louis smacked his hand away.

"Ouch, hey I'm legal now" He exclaimed.

"Since when? I thought tomorrow is your birthday?" Louis raised his eyebrow and the boy groaned loudly.

"Let him have a beer, he's turning eighteen in few hours" Zayn said, taking another sip of his beer.

"Thanks boss" The boy said with an ecstatic chuckle as he grabs the beer and poked his tongue out at Louis.

"Ew stop poking your tongue out like a six year old, Ezra" Louis said, shaking his head with a light chuckle.

Erza poked his tongue out again and took a sip of his beer after he pried the bottle opened. He took his phone out from his pocket when he heard his message tone, signaling he has received a text message.

The female in the group took a bite of her slice pizza and glance at Louis. "Remind me to get Erza a box of condoms, as his birthday present" Louis chuckled softly and nods in response.

"Xbox will be much appreciated, thank you very much" Ezra mumbled as he continued texting without looking up.

"Alright, listen up" Zayn said as he set his empty beer bottle on the counter.

"Mary, will contact our Mexican associates tomorrow to bargain the deal and how the cars will be shipped to them" He said, glancing briefly at the female in the group who acknowledged with a slight nod.

As he kept talking about their plans for tomorrow, the others gaze at him, paying closely attention to what he was saying. He spoke smoothly, so sure of himself, so certain that everything he was saying to his gang was definitely going to happen tomorrow.

But you see, our life is unpredictable. You'll never know what's coming the next minute or what tomorrow may hold.

Who knew we will wake up one-day to read about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie having such a bitter divorce and child settlement issues?

That's our human life, nothing is guaranteed. Our life is full of certainties and uncertainties, and a small event as tiny as a drop of a pin can change the direction of our entire lives.

My father once told when you think of good, think of the bad. He meant we shouldn't always expect certainties to come our way but also expect uncertainties too, so we wouldn't feel so frustrated, disappointed and lost when things don't go contrary to our plans.

I asked him if he believes in *think positive and attract positive energy*

His reply was..... its good to think positive but it's better to prepare yourself for any uncertainty and sometimes the uncertainty we are afraid of, might actually be our serendipity.

Life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincidence and uncertainties. There is always a reason.

And that's what happened to our four purloiners. They didn't know the days ahead of them was going take an unexpected turn, and they'll have no choice but to follow it and end up in a place full of drama, love and action.

They didn't know they will be meeting someone who will change their lives forever and that's someone is.....

Let's just say sometimes big things comes in small packages.
