Third Person POV:

"For outstanding moral fibre!" Dumbledore declares, raising up his hand.  The crowds scream and cheer for Harry, who had not only saved Ron Weasley but Fleur Delacour's sister in the Second task, too.  All the Gryffindors crowd around Harry, shouting with delight.

"I was hoping he'd stay down there," Draco Malfoy mutters to his cronies, Crabbe and Goyle.  "Saint Potter!  Let's get out of here.  I'm going to be sick."

Draco and his fellow Slytherins head downstairs, all disappointed that Harry Potter won second place.  Crabbe and Goyle arrive first to the boats and hop in, taking up three of the spots on the boat.  Draco grumbles in anger as the boat floats away back to shore.  He rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, swearing at Crabbe and Goyle under his breath.  From behind, y/n y/l/n walks up with her band of Slytherin girls.  They, too are complaining about the outcome of the task.

"Harry Potter gets everything!  He didn't deserve second place!" she says to her friends.  "Dumbledore has always favoured him over all others!  It's not fair to any of us!  Potter gets off easy."

Y/n and her friends step into the boat until it's full and they slowly start to ride to shore.

"Well, well," Draco laughs. "Y/n y/l/n.  What do I have the honour-"

"Zip it, Malfoy!" one of y/n friends hisses, but y/n raises her hand with a smirk.

"Now, Bethany.  Don't go disrespecting people...," y/n tuts, looking over to Bethany and back to Draco.  "I never thought I'd see you in human form again, Draco, after that nasty debacle with Moody."

Draco blushes.  He'd been having a hard time trying to forget the ferret incident, but it seemed to be able to follow him everywhere he went.

"I'd prefer not to talk about that, y/n," Draco sighs and y/n shrugs in return as they pull up to shore.  All of the Slytherin step out into the dirt and head back up to the castle for dinner.  Draco cautiously follows y/n and her group.  From behind, a heard of Gryffindor boys come up behind them.

"Oi, y/l/n!" Seamus Finnigan shouts, but before he can add on, y/n whirls around and points her wand at his neck.  He stumbles back, nearly knocking down Dean Thomas as he tries to avoid y/n's wand.

"Piss off, Finnigan!" y/n shouts, aggravated.  She scowls, but a smile break over her face slowly. "I don't have time for people like you!"

Seamus stares at her, breathing heavily.

"You're insane, y/l/n!" he shouts.  Y/n laughs and turns her back swiftly on the Gryffindors in satisfaction, marching up the hill with her head held high.  Rushing along to catch up, Draco rushes to her side.

"Y/n...  May I speak with you for a second?" he asks, a twinkle of mischief in his eye.  Y/n smirks and motions to her friends to move on without her.  They nod and turn away, disappearing.  Draco grins and takes y/n's hand.  She doesn't protest and he pulls her to a tree, pinning her against a trunk.

"What's this about, Malfoy?" y/n says calmly, noticing the building tension in the air.  "You wouldn't pull just anyone aside like this..."

"Well, you just happen to be very special, y/n," Draco whispers smoothly.

"How so?" y/n asks, her ego getting to her.

"Well...," Draco says softly into her ear.  "You're a pureblood Slytherin for one...  You're feisty and don't take shit from anyone...  You stand tall like you should.  You're superior...  You're over all of those rats.  You, y/n, are just the kind of person I'm looking for."

"What are you implying, Malfoy?" y/n laughs maliciously.

"Well, we both hate Potter, our values align, were the most powerful people in Slytherin house...  We'd make a hell of a team, y/n. Don't you agree?  How about we team up, rule the school, put scum like Potter in their rightful places?" Draco suggests, now looking directly into y/n's eyes.

"What's in it for me?" y/n asks, crossing her arms.

"I like the way you think, y/n.  You should never go into a deal if there's noting in it for you...  You'll have power and definite superior status with me.  You'll have the ability to beat down Potter all the time with back up... and you'll have me...," he trails off.  A smile breaks over y/n face.

"Have you in what way?" she asks.

"Any way you want," Draco whispers, going in and pecking her lips softly.  She blushes and wraps her arms around him as he takes her waist in his hands gently.  She smiles as they kiss.  He breaks away, taking her hand and leading her back to the castle for their first meal as a power couple.

~~~~~
It's been a month since y/n and Draco have gotten together and it's turned out exactly how Draco and y/n wanted it to.  All powerful, every day they walk confidently down the halls, Draco's hand on y/n's waist.  The crowds part for them and nobody dares to mess with them.  Since they've gotten together, both of them have collectively gotten worse.  They've gone on a wild rampage of insults, but being practically invincible within the student body, there's been no stopping them.
Today being Sunday, the whole student body has no classes.  Y/n, Draco, and the Slytherins all sit in the courtyard in each other's arms, whispering sweet nothings and laughing every once in a while.  Draco cups y/n's cheek with his hands and kisses her lips, making her giggle.
Across the way, Harry, Ron and Hermione enter the courtyard, trying to find a place to talk about the Divination homework they received a few days ago.
"Look!  It's Weaslebee, Mudblood and the Harry Potter!"  Draco scoffs.  "Hey, Potter!   How are your parents?!"
"Shove off, Malfoy!" Ron snaps as Harry's ears turn red.  Y/n cackles loudly.
"You two are menaces!" Hermione shouts.
"Like we care what you think, Mudblood!  Your opinion doesn't matter!  The only opinion that does matter is Draco's...," y/n sighs, looking at her boyfriend and attacking his lips roughly.
"Break it up!" Harry groans.  "You're disgusting!"
"If anything's disgusting it's Weasley's father, the muggle lover!" Draco laughs.  Y/n giggles at his words and pulls him closer, ignoring her enemies.
"You two are evil and belong in Azkaban," Ron mumbles.  "Let's get out of here..."
The Gryffindors nod and disappear, but y/n and Draco don't notice. they're too captivated by each other to care.  All that counts in the world to Draco is y/n and all that y/n cares about is Draco.
