Ava's POV

We were almost at Julian's cabin and I couldn't possibly take anymore of Corinna's constant whining. Every five minutes she'd start asking if we were there yet. Not to mention, once we stopped somewhere and i'd get a chance to sit in the passenger seat, she'd start ranting on how I supposedly didn't 'deserve' it. Whatever the hell that meant.

"You know Chase, you should really teach me how to throw that ball thingy, with your famous athletic skills." Corinna cooed. Please kill me.

Chase saw how horrified my expression was, and he decided to egg her on. "Maybe once we get to the cabin." He then snuck a peak at me through the rear view mirror and winked at me. Someone needs to get me out of this car.

"It's called a football." I retorted.

"Whatever, do you think we're gonna swim? I brought the cutest swimsuit." Corinna wondered. It was literally nearing Thanksgiving. And of course she brought a swimsuit, she was practically prancing around naked. It made my sweats and tshirt go to shame.

"Too bad it's November." I answered instead of Chase. I could tell I was testing her patience, since she kept glaring at me. This was actually kind of funny. Chase seemed to think so too, sine he was holding in his laugh. Corinna huffed and put her earbuds in focusing on her phone. I adverted my attention from her, and looked out the window. I saw a huge cabin, and Julian's truck parked outside of it. He really wasn't joking when he said he had money.

Chase pulled in and parked his car alongside Julian's. "We're finally here." He parked and I bolted outside kissing the ground. I didn't actually do it, but I probably needed to after that long car ride.

"Finally!" I breathed out. I popped open Chase's trunk and grabbed my bag.

"Someone's in a hurry." Chase laughed. I rolled my eyes and slung the bag over my shoulder.

"After that car ride, i'm contemplating ever being in one ever again." I said with a small laugh.

"Come on it wasn't that ba-" I placed a hand over his mouth and glared at him.

"Don't you dare." With that I made my way back inside meeting Lizzie in the living room. I sat down in the living room scrolling through my Instagram. The seat next to me dipped and I was filled with a familiar scent. Chase.

"So what's the plan for today?" he said nonchalantly. I wonder if he knew how loud my heart was beating. Our shoulders were touching, and his hand was close to my thigh. Was I the only one who noticed this?

"Well it's nearly 9 so how about we just go swimming?" Julian asked.

Do they not believe in the cold?? "Um excuse me." I said raising a finger "It's November.?"

"It's an indoor pool you idiot." Corinna chimed in. Did this girl just call me an idiot? I'll show her an idiot. Wait, that doesn't make sense. Nevermind.

I flipped her off and said, "Well I didn't bring a swimsuit soo.."

"I have one!" Mia yelled from the kitchen. Let the swimming commence.

---

I was currently in one of the many rooms Julian had. Julian had 4 master bedrooms, and since there were eight of us we had to be to to a person. I was roomed with Lizzie, Mia and Abigail were together, Chase and Jasper sharing one. The only one I actually felt bad for was Kiki. She got stuck with Corinna. I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemies.

"So I saw how close you and Chase were in the living room."Lizzie said whilst comparing two swimsuits.

"You noticed that too?!" I said wide-eyed.
