Season 1: Children of the Damned

enters the kitchen in her house where her dad sits typing away on his laptop. Vivian's making herself a cup of tea. Drake leans back in his chair and sighs, closing the laptop.

"Morning dad, Vivian" She smiles. Drake smiles up at his daughter, then looking at his laptop again. Vivian sets her cup down and rests her lower back against the kitchen counter.

"So," Vivian smiles. "Is Stefan still up there?" Rosalie's face heats a little bit.

"No, he went home last night" Vivian nods; not convinced in the slightest. Vivian swats her thick, black hair over her shoulder. Her hair hugs her shoulders.

"Also, your friend Anna left this for you" Anna? Jeremy's girl? Rosalie snatches the letter out of step-mom's hand and opens it.

It felt old-fashioned to send a letter, or drop off a letter. Rosalie's name is neatly scribbled on the folded paper. Jeremy said she's a little strange, but all that was on the paper is her name. That's a more than odd to Rosalie.

"Thank, Vivian" Rosalie smiles. She goes back down into her room and tosses the letter on her bed.

Stefan wraps his arms around her waist, kissing her neck sweetly. Rosalie flips to the face him. She tangles her fingers into his hair.

"How's Gilbert journal duty going?" Rosalie asks.

"Haven't started yet. I'm going over to Elena's to go look for it. What are you doing today?"

"Haven't decided. Probably hang out with Jeremy" Stefan kisses her forehead.

"Sounds like a good plan"

"Need any help?" Rosalie peeks into the kitchen where Damon is setting up dinner in Elena's kitchen. He's trying to get one Elena's good side so she'll help find the Jonathan journal, it hasn't worked so far. It's just been irritating Elena.

"Sure" Damon smiles. Rosalie enters the kitchen and grabs the salad bowl.

"Where's Stefan?" Damon asks as he reaches into one of the cupboards for glasses.

"I have no idea, he just told me that he was looking for the--" Rosalie gasps. Her foot caught onto the trash can. The bowl slips out of her hands and she nearly catches it, only to have Damon come over and let it fall gracefully into his large hands. "Sorry" She smiles sheepishly.

Damon smiles down at her, stepping forward, placing the bowl behind her on the kitchen island. Rosalie leans against the island. Damon never smiles unless he wants something. There's nothing she could do for him so what does he want. Damon's smile falters to a frown.

"Can I trust you?" Rosalie peers up at him. "Can I trust Stefan's renewed sense of brotherhood?" Damon speaks softly.

Rosalie holds her breath. She hates lying. Stefan told her last night that he lied about helping him. She wants Damon to be happy, a new haven for him and Katherine. Rosalie didn't agree with Stefan lying and she didn't agree with Damon's plan to make sure the rest of the vampires in the tomb. She isn't happy with either ideas.

"Y--Yes," She stutters, staring into his sad, blue eyes. "You can trust me, Damon" She avoids answering the trust question about Stefan.

"Okay, he is ridiculously hot, Rosalie. You did good" Rosalie's face heats up and she shushes Jenna.

"Yes, he's attractive and so is my boyfriend. Damon can be....iffy sometimes" Damon scrunches his eyebrows together. What did she mean by iffy?
