NEGLECTED
A boy and girl roam freely.
Which is what I can never do...never again.
It tears me inside that I was their age...
The age where parents should love you-and yet mine didn't care.
I had to make myself acceptable, with a troubled home life...school was never better.
So that's when I started to take the magic powder which removed my pain,
My mind heart and reason to blistered to remain sane.
With each compression to my skin the intoxication of it took over...
I fell into cloud nine, I couldn't sense anything...anything but euphoria
And when it was over...the pain came back.
The doctors said I wouldn't make it...
But I did....just ended up in wheels.
And now here I am broken tattered, and neglected.
Watching children run freely while on my chair.
