My Hero

I walk out to the end of the driveway and open the mailbox. I gather a couple bills that have escalated over the last couple days and head back into the house. A giant pain erupts in my right foot before I could open the door. I let out a scream out at the top of my lungs and drop everything I was holding. More than 10 red wasps swarm my head and sting me in multiple places. The door to the house swings open and white spray covers my legs as Austin sprays at the horrid creatures. Most of them die off and he swats at the last couple until no more are seen in sight.
"Where did they sting you? Are you okay? Please tell me you're not allergic?!"
His face is full of concern and worry. "(Y/N) baby, please tell me so I can help you."
I walk into his arms and just hug him. After realizing what I was doing, his strong arms hug me back. "Thank you for always being my hero."
His lips press into my hair.
"That's all I've ever wanted to be."
