Yes, Africans had slaves. Yes, when they won wars they sold some of the prisoners into slavery.
Whenever people bring up slavery, some white person will bring up the fact that Africans had slaves. They never talk about the fact that slavery was not based on skin color, but on what tribe you were from, or if you lost a battle or war. Slave in Africa actually had some rights.
In America, white people got slaves, built a country on their backs; and built a system of prejudice and racism that has left behind a legacy of hatred.
