I don't believe that feminism will ever be truly intersectional. As long as white women are the face and voice of the movement, it won't be intersectional.
At it's roots, feminism was not for people of color. Feminists actively barred women of color from their movement while they fought for voting rights, and they opposed black men being able to vote.
