Haylee's pov
I walked inside the store covering my face with my black hat and trying to keep my head down.
I went to the aisle that had all the medicine and I grabbed pain killers and bandages.
"Need help?" A guy said and I jumped up in fear.
"Um no thanks" I said
"Really you look confused" he said
"And you seem desperate to talk to me" I said and he laughed
"Guilty" he said and I gave a small smile something about him made it feel like I could talk to him and trust him like a pull.
"I can help I kind of come through here all the time for this kind of stuff" he said and looked at my busted lip and bruised eye.
"You okay" he said and I nodded
"Got in a fight at school" I said and lied
"Really can't wait to see the other girl" he said
"She got expelled" I said lying again
"Hm you go to north valley high right" he said and I nodded
"Hm I didn't see or hear any fight" he said and I looked away I heard a honk outside and I looked and saw James pull up and I grabbed any kind and walked away.
"Hey" the guy said and grabbed my hand
"I can help" he said and I pulled away
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said and I paid for it and left.
My name is haylee but I go by Hayes there isn't much to know about me I'm 16 I go to north valley and live with my boyfriend James. I have no siblings I have no friends I'm just a plain girl with an abusive boyfriend cause I have no where else to go.
I got in the car and James stared at me.
"Who's that guy" he said
"I don't know" I said
"Don't lie to me haylee" he said
"I honestly don't know James" I said and he rolled his eyes and drove off and I saw the guy come out the store and watch us drive off.
There was something about him that just I couldn't explain it but I felt safe.
Adrian's pov
She looked so familiar like I knew her.
I got home and went upstairs to talk to my mom.
"Mom" I said
"Yes honey" she said
"Where is dad" I said
"Working late at the pack house why" she said
"I think I just saw Haylee Bakers" he said
"It's not possible she died adrian" she said
"No mom it was her I'm sure of it it was the same scent it has to be her" I said
"How can you be so sure" she said
"I'm not sure mom it's just this feeling" I said
"Don't tell your father yet her parents shouldn't have false hope cam it's been almost 12 years" she said and I sighed
"Fine" I said
"Just do some digging" she said and I nodded and I walked out of her room and went to mine and grabbed my year book.
I flipped through the pages and found her but her name was changed it was Haylee Morgan not Haylee bakers........
Haylee's pov
I cried on the floor as he beat me.
"I TOLD YOU JUST TO GO GET MEDICINE AND WHAT DO YOU DO YOU FUCKING TALK TO ANOTHER GUY WHAT ARE YOU CHEATING?!" He yelled
"No" I cried and he slapped me and walked out and I let even more tears come out. What the hell am I doing.......
