Chapter 14

The announcers introduced Seabrook to the stage.

They all got in a line and moved to the side to let Bucky go in the front.

They all started cheering but they were failing. Two cheer girls fell.

The crowd started laughing and booing.

"The best kind of sabotage. Self sabotage." Eliza said and they all looked at each other smiling.

"Seconds in and Seabrook is already falling apart" One of the announcers said.

"Get off the stage Bucky" A man yelled from the crowd.

"What's that sound" Bucky asked.

"I think they're booing us" Lacey said.

Zoey walked down a few steps and ran off.

Zoey unplugged Seabrook's audio and Zoey got on stage.

"Let's go Seabrook cheer" Zoey cheered with her Pom Poms.

"Get of the stage zombie" The same man yelled.

Zoey continued to cheer while the crowd booed.

Zed smiles at what Zoey was doing.

"What is she doing?" Bree asked.

"She's changing things. By cheering." Addison said.

"But that's not how change works. U can't just change things with one person and a pair of Pom Poms" Eliza said.

"Ur right. It's gonna take more than just one person. It's gonna take all of us." Erika said.

"It's not like they'll ever see us as normal" Eliza said.

Zed smiles. "They won't. Cuz we're not normal" Zed said.

"And they need to see that" Addison said.

"We zombies celebrate our differences. We need to get up there and cheer" Erika said.

"So u guys in?" Zed asked and Bonzo agreed.

"So this is our revolution?" Eliza asked.

"Yea" Erika and Addison said.

"But does it have to be cheer tho?" Eliza asked.

"Come on sis" Erika said and pulled her on stage.

They all walked to Bucky.

"Bucky things can change" Zed said.

"Look change is happening Bucky. And we're not going away. So u can either fight us and lose. Or be apart of it" Eliza said.

Bucky looked at Addison then at Erika.

He took off his cheer whistle and gave it to Erika.

"I can't" He said and walked off.

"Looks like we need a new captain" Erika said.

Erika looked at Zoey.

Then Addison and Zed looked at Zoey as she was smiling.

The three looked at each other smiling and nodded.

"Alright here's the plan" Zed said.

"We're gonna let our freak flags fly" Zed said.

They all got into position and they went on stage.

"There are zombies and cheerleaders on the floor together" The announcer said.

"U are watching history unfold." The other announcer said.

"Been waiting for this day to come
And it was all so clear" Zoey sang.
