Never Hate You - Poem 87

Sifting through all these memories and moments,

When smiles form along with the tears.

Letting the feelings that were shallow come to the surface.

I am trying to find myself in my decisions,

Not knowing how to live the future.

I hope you know I will make the decision that I feel is right.

Though, if I am wrong,

And get my heart broken,

I will never come running to you after I have been pushed away.

Please don't hold me back,

Let me walk through that door.

I will never hate you,

You will always be my parents,

So disown me if you will.
