I am Okay - Poem 16

"I am okay.

I promise."

Another lie

Leaves my dried lips.

I try to believe it.

Wishing it was true.

Wisking away

The ones who care.

Pushing away

The ones that believed in me.

The pressure has built up,

So much I can't breath.

Telling you lies with

Fake smiles.

Tears in my eyes.

Trembling hands.

Head throbbing.

I just need someone

To hold me.

To whisper

To cry

While steadying my

Weak body.
