Logical Emotion - Poem 89

I have found that I am a logical person, along with an understanding person.

When others come to me, I give them answers that are smart but also keep the emotions at bay.

There is always a logical way around your emotions, no buts or what-ifs.

When my own feelings close in on me and clench my heart,

The logical part of my brain turns on and I shut them out.

Because if I lose myself to these petty demons

Who will be there for those that cannot control theirs?

My hand is outstretched, take it if you need.
