Chapter 19 No!
Elizabeth’s P.O.V
“Grayson, what’s wrong? Ellie!”
Noah’s yelling brings me back into the room. “Wha…oh…this can’t be good.” I look at Grayson on the floor.
“What’s wrong with him?” Noah asks.
“I don’t know.”
I walk up to them and I sit on the floor next to Grayson. He’s sweating and his body is trembling like crazy. He suddenly starts screaming.
“John!” I call the beta.
“Yes… what happened?”
“Bring in the pack doctor and get the witch.” John nods and runs out the room.
“Sven!” He starts screaming his name.
“Grayson.” I start shaking him.
“Sven! Sven!”
“Why is he calling Sven’s name?” Noah asks.
“I don’t know…”
I tear Grayson’s shirt. “What the hell is that?”
It looks like Sven’s mark but Grayson’s is located on the left side of his chest.
Lucius!
Yes Elizabeth?
Is Sven okay?”
He stays silent
Don’t ignore my question!
Don’t rudely yell at me! Sven isn’t okay.
What exactly is happening to him?
He is trembling and I can smell death.
Bring him to the pack house.
And why should I do that?
Grayson is experiencing the same thing.
I don’t care about that mutt.
If he dies, Sven will too.
I just made that part up but hopefully nothing that bad will happen.
Sven is immortal, he cannot-
Nothing like this has happened before.
Nothing, yet again!
I give up. Lucius is an asshole.
“I’m here, what happened?” The pack doctor runs to Grayson.
“We were reading then he just collapsed.” Noah explains.
The doc gives Noah a look of disgust. “Take Grayson and bring him into my office.” He looks at Noah, “human scum such as yourself shouldn’t be here.”
Before Noah can talk back, I step in. “I wouldn’t talk to him that way omega. He is the future beta’s mate and what do you think he would do if he found out someone like you badmouthed his mate?”
He swallows and looks at the ground.
Once we’re in his office, Lucius comes in, surprising me.
“You came?”
“Yes well, the mutts were giving me a hard time.” He puts Sven down on another bed next to where john put Grayson. “What now?” He asks. He sounds really pissed.
