"So what are you saying?" I said looking at summer
"I don't know Yn, I really love Malak that's why I'm trying to accept the fact that he has another son" she said
"Okay, how do you feel about Marcus" I said
"He's a very sweet and kind little boy. I don't have no problem with his mom, we're keeping things civilized for the sake of our careers and the kids" she said
"That's good, where are the boys" I said
"Malak took them all to the basketball courts so they could play some basketball for a little while" she said

"Oh okay, hold up Kyree's calling me" I said picking up the phone

"I'll bring the twins back tomorrow...wait is it okay if I keep them for an extra day" he said
"Yeah sure their your kids too so it's fine with me just make sure they aren't up late" I said
"I won't" he said

"I see you two are handling this co-parenting thing really well" she said
"Yeah, the twins are starting to cope with them going from house to house but at least they get to see both of their parents on a daily basis. They know that if they can't see their dad they call him on their iPads or text him" I said
"That's cool that y'all have everything under control, how does Mateo feel about the whole thing" she said
"It's okay with him I guess we haven't really spoken on it" I said
It was silent for a little while until Lucas's name flashed across the screen
"Awe Lucas is calling" she said
"I know this will only take a minute" I said answering

"Hey" I said
"You busy, I wanna meet up so we can talk" he said
"Uh I'm with summer, what time do you wanna meet up though" I said
"1:30" he said
I pulled the phone from my ear looking at the time seeing that it was 12:45
"Yeah I can do that, where at?" I said
"The mall" he said
"Alright, I'll see you in a little bit" I said
"Okay" he said hanging up
I put my phone down and looked at summer who was staring at me with her eyebrow raised
"What" I said
"Who are you meeting at 1:30" she said
"Lucas" I said
"Awe, where y'all going? Does Mateo know?" She said
"No mateo doesn't know because it's not that serious and we're going to the mall so I'll see you in a little bit" I said standing up
"Okay girl, I'll talk to you later" she said
"Okay" I said leaving heading towards my car
Lucas's POV
Okay how am I gonna tell her that I'm in love with her because I can't just come out and say 'Yn I'm in love with you' it won't sound right and I'll feel stupid if she doesn't feel the same way

I don't even know what I'm gonna say to her because if she doesn't feel the same way about me it's gonna be real awkward being friends with her. After a while of me being in my thoughts I kept hearing the door bell ring so I finally got up off the couch answering the door to see Yn smiling up at me.
"You wanted to see me" Yn said
"Yeah, come in" I said stepping aside so she could come in

I took a seat on his couch waiting for Lucas who was locking the door
"So..." I said once he came back into the living room
"Yeah...I've been meaning to talk to you but I never got around to it because you've been so busy lately" Lucas said fiddling with his fingers
"Okay, what do you wanna talk about?" I said looking at him
"I Uh, I love you Yn...I'm in love with you actually. I never told you because I didn't know how to tell you and I didn't know how you would react, I know it's sudden because you and Mateo are gonna be married soon but I just wanted to tell you it's fine if you don't feel the same way" Lucas said looking away from me
Do I feel the same way? Why aren't I saying anything? Is it because me and Teo are on the verge of getting married and the twins father is still around? I don't know what it is but I'll figure it out I still need to say something to Lucas though
"Lucas" I said touching his shoulder
He looked at my hand on his shoulder turning around to face me
"Yeah..." he said
"I don't know what to say but a lots going on right now so I'm gonna need some time to think this through before we both commit to something we're not ready for" I said
"Okay, can you not mention this to Mateo or anyone else" Lucas said rubbing the back of his neck
"Uh yeah...I'll see you later" I said grabbing my jacket and leaving
Mateo's POV
"Hey! I missed you where were you?" I said looking at Yn as she walked into the house
"I went out to eat with Lucas nothing major, he wanted to talk to me and see if I could watch Lucas jr while he go do some shows with Will and Dillyn" she said
"Okay, when is little man coming?" I asked
"I don't know I haven't asked Lucas about it" she said
"Okay well little man is welcome anytime, besides Kamari's gonna need company every once in a while" I said
"That's true, I'm gonna start dinner. What do you wanna eat?" She said
"Chicken and pasta" I said licking my lips
