Mateo's POV (Bahamas medical center)
We all sat in the waiting room patiently waiting for Yn's doctor to come out because sadly she was shot three times. After a few moments of waiting and waiting and waiting the doctor finally came out to speak with us, I immediately stood up.
"How is she doc" I said
"I'm sorry to inform you but Ms.Yn has passed away. When the second bullet wound hit her it went straight through her chest and went directly through her heart" the doctor said
I dropped down to the floor and just cried I can't believe she died
"C-Can I go see her" I asked
"Yeah. One at a time though" the doctor said

Summer's POV (at home)
After we all left the hospital we all went home. I didn't want to be there anymore knowing that she died, the hospital said they'd ship her body back to Atlanta

???'s POV (4 months later)
"Come on just keep reviving her" was all I kept hearing as my chest jumped up and down from the doctors shocking me
"She's awake doctor" one of the nurses said
I then opened my eyes and looked around the room trying to get my vision back
"Where am I" was all I said
"Well Ms. Yn you are currently at the Bahamas medical center" the doctor said
"Who's Yn? Why am I here? How did I get here?" I said asking all these questions
"Doctor she's suffering from Anterograde Amnesia" the nurse said
A/N: basically people who have this kind of memory loss have the inability to create new memories due to brain damage, while their long-term memories from before remain intact
"Alright then we'll start small. Yn when were you born" the doctor asked
"I was born two hours ago" I said
The doctor then shook his head "no. You were born April 6th, 1999" the doctor said
"Okay, but who's this Yn person because my name is Daniella not Yn" I said
"Should we call her friends let them know she's awake" the nurse said
"Yes just to notify them" the doctor said
The nurse nodded her head and then walked out of the room
Mateo's POV
"Hello" I said answering my phone after I pushed all of the trash and stuff off of my dresser
"Yes. This is doctor Samuel I'm currently at Bahamas medical center, I'm calling to inform you that a Ms. Yn is here and she's awake. Do you wanna come and visit her" the doctor said
"Yes! I'm coming to get her" I said hanging up the phone
I grabbed a pair of clothes and put my shoes on grabbing my keys walking down the stairs. I ran out of the house and drove to the airport.
Daniella's POV (Yn)
I looked around the room flicking through channels until the doctor came into my room
"Alright Yn one of your friends will be here shortly to come and take you home" the doctor said
"My name isn't Yn so stop calling me that my name is Daniella" I said becoming angry
"Alright Daniella, would you like something to drink, something to eat maybe" the doctor said
"I'll have some orange juice" I said
"Alright" the doctor said
After a few minutes of waiting a nurse then came into my room with a boy who was cute, light skin with an Afro and a mask that was covering his mouth
"Hey Yn" the boy said coming over towards me hugging me
"Who are you? And my name isn't Yn it's Daniella" I said crossing my arms
"Um nurse is she okay?" The boy asked
"Yes she's fine she's just suffering from anterograde amnesia" the nurse said
"Uh what's that" the boy asked
"It's when people try to create new memories while their long-term memories remain intact. Just give her sometime and I'm sure she'll find herself" the nurse said
"Thank you" the boy said
He then walked over to the chair that was next to my bed
"So Daniella, I'm Mateo but you used to call me Tator or Teo" mateo said
"Okay, so Teo can you tell me some things about myself. You know things I used to do" I said
"Well you were very nice to everyone except for the people that you didn't like and we used to date" Mateo said
"Oh. So where's my boyfriend Kyree" I said
Mateo's POV
"Oh. So where's my boyfriend Kyree" she said
I froze for nearly two minutes
"Uh Kyree isn't your boyfriend" I said
"Yes he is and you can't tell me he isn't. I wanna see him" she said
"Alright. I'll sign you out of here and I'll take you to go see him" I said
"Thank you" She said smiling
Damn I missed her so fucking much why'd she have to lose her memory, why'd Chres have to shoot her
A/N: she was on life support for those 4 months the doctors just never informed them. So yeah they all still think she's dead
Summer's POV
I looked down at my phone and saw that I got a text from Mateo
Mateo
I'm coming over in a little bit. Yn's alive
Me
No she isn't. She died four months ago
Mateo
I'm telling you she's not dead, we're about to get on the plane and come home. I'll prove to you she isn't dead
Me
Alright suit yourself
"Babe Mateo is going crazy" I said
"What you mean" Malak said zipping his gym bag up
"He just texted me saying that Yn was alive and that he's bringing her here" I said to him
"Woah. Well uh I'm gonna head to practice I'll see you in two hours. I love you" Malak said kissing my lips
"I love you too" I said kissing him back letting him leave
