I was practicing for basketball tryouts with Cyrus helping me.

"Cyrus, pass me the ball,"I said.

"I don't like those basketball shorts,"he said.

"Pass me the ball,"I said again.

"I don't like those basketball shorts,"He said again.

"Maybe I can help you instead,"a familiar voice said.

"Marty, Hey,"I said.

"Cyrus you can leave if you want,"I said.

"Ok sure thanks,"he said then left.

<< A few hours later >>

"Thanks for helping me,"I said.

"Your welcome,"he replied.

"Do you want me to walk you home?"he asked.

"Sure,"I replied and we left the school.

"Buffy I need to tell you something,"he started.

"Ok and that is?"I asked.

"Will you go out with me?"he asked and my eyes widen.

"I feel like we're better together,"he said.

"Yeah because we aren't a couple,"I replied.

"Well I don't want it to be fake, I want it to be real,"he said.

"Is that a possibility?"he asked.

"I....I...uh,"I said.

"I'll give you time to think about it,"he whispered in my ear and it sent shivers down my spine.

We kept walking until we got to my house. I plopped myself onto my bed and screamed in my pillow.

*What do I Do?*I thought.

<< The Next Day >>

I had went to my locker with Andi and Cyrus and I saw Marty walking towards me. I was so nervous.

"Hey Buffy,"he said.

"We'll see you later,"Andi said and walked away with Cyrus.

"So have you made up- I cut him off by pressing my lips against his.

"I would love to go out with you,"I replied.

We walked to class hand in hand. I've never felt like this for a long, long time.

I'm glad I said yes.
