Love Before Dawn – Chapter 1

A/N : Let's have a slight look at the tension between Lauren and You shall we ?

Guys just so you know, it's going to take some time for me to update considering that I have plans for the next two weeks which are going to take all my time. Updates are going to be less frequent that's why I need you to tell me which fics you'd like to see update first. I need to know which ones are the most demanded.

Anyway I leave you guys with this first official chapter.

Your point of view.

I had found myself haunted, for the first time, by someone who didn't belong to my so-called family. I was haunted by those green eyes I had met the previous night. I was already missing her eyes, her scent, the way her hair fell on her shoulders, the way she would talk, her husky voice, her tanned legs. It was the first time I kept thinking about a human, it was the first a human became an obsession to me and the first that I had considered a human something other than feast. But that green eyed girl kept my mind busy, so busy that the next I had basically stopped every time I saw a brunette hoping I would meet her emerald eyes. I knew though that I wouldn't see her again but still I couldn't stop thinking about her. Talking to her had been an infringement to my course of actions but still I did it anyway. And the worst part was that I wanted to talk to her again, I wanted to get to know her, I wanted her to...want me and to think about me the way I thought about her. I needed to feel this connection I felt between her and I, so unconsciously when the sun finally set my feet began leading me to the alley I had seen her the other night. As I got closer to the alley, I could feel her scent grow stronger probably because she was here just yesterday and her scent was still present there. But as I got closer to the actual street, I was taken aback by the fact that her scent was going insanely stronger as if she was actually there. I finally made the final turn finding myself in the same alley as last night only to be met by her shape leaning against a wall. Before she could look up I used my vampire speed to set myself back on the fire escape stairs, only this time I hid further in the shadow, really not wanting her to see me. For a second I thought that she was just wanting for someone, probably the guy from last night. But after she looked up to stare to my direction searching for something and not finding it which caused her to look back down defeated, I understood she was waiting for me. She wanted to see me again and that only thought couldn't help but put a slight smile to my face. She thought about me, she thought about me so much that she came her to see me again. I wanted to talk to her, I wanted to go there and get lost in meaningless conversations with her, conversations that would keep us up all the night. I wanted to fight this feeling but I couldn't so I got out of the shadows but remained on the stair case as she still looked down.
