DISCLAIMER: I ONLY OWN THE PLOT OF THIS STORY.  I CAN'T EXACTLY SAY THAT I DON'T OR DO OWN BTS, SINCE THEY'RE NOT AN ITEM, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THIS.  I DON'T OWN THEM.

So as you know from reading my little note, this is my first fanfic involving real people.  And first fanfic involving BTS.  And to let you all know before you get started, I don't plan to have any romance with the main character.  As far as I've planned out there will be none of that.  If there is, well then there will be.  But as far as of now, there won't be any.  Also, for some it might get a bit boring since this whole chapter and maybe the next one(?) might not have as much BTS as I'd like.  But I will make sure to get them in, in the next chapter.

Daydream, helped me get this chapter done.  I really like that song.

So please have some patience with me, okay.  Anyways, sorry for any bad spelling and grammar errors.  Also I'm horrible at picking names for my characters, so I'm sorry for that too.  I just put down whatever came to mind.  Sorry.

Enjoy.

Fear. Sadness. Anger. That was all she felt when she heard the news come from the doctor's own lips.

She didn't want to believe it, maybe she had misheard. And she had the doctor repeat what he had said before.

"You only have one year to live if we can't get you a new heart. Two years at best, if you get medication to help stop the progression."

Her mother, she noticed from the corner of her eye, was silently crying. And was turning away from both the doctor and her daughter.

"But the last time I came to an appointment, one of the other doctors said it was just some breathing problems! He gave me medicine for it. It didn't even help at all. Every time I went to a doctor since I was eleven they said it was that I was pushing myself to much when I ran and that caused me breathing problems!" She exclaimed as she clenched her hands tightly not giving a care that she could faintly feel the sting from having her short nails dig into her palm. It would most likely leave marks, but she didn't care.

The doctor put down the folder that held her medical record onto the sink counter next to him* and looked at the young girl sitting in front of him.

He shook his head slowly, "I'm sorry Jamie, but it was a misdiagnosis. All the symptoms you had were the same as one would when they have problems with their lungs, The symptoms from your condition are similar to others, and it's only a process of elimination to find what was really wrong." He mournfully said, "But since you've had this for so long and how progressed your heart condition is, there should have been no misdiagnosis. It's clear what it is."

Jamie took in a shaky breath and then bit onto her lower lip to prevent herself from letting out the sobs that were trying to break free along with the tears threatening to spill over.

"I'll be setting up an appointment with a specialist for you." The doctor said as he picked up the folder and stood up.

"Thank you Doctor Smith." Jamie muttered not trusting her voice to speak louder.

The ride home was painfully quiet. It seemed as if the entire world had been muted. There was no sound.

Sure there were other cars passing theirs that had music blasting so loud, but that too seemed to be muted.

Jamie didn't even realize that her mother had driven up their driveway, and parked and turned off the car. She didn't notice until she felt a gentle tug on her arm.
