Thanks for choosing my story to read. Before continuing I would like to clarify some things.
This story is placed in the shadowhunters universe, and the main characters are Alec and my character Sky. I know that in the books and the tv series Alec is gay and dating Magnus. If you are already reading this you know that here that's not the case.
I'm in no way trying to cancel Alec's sexuality and/ or offend Cassandra Clare and all the malec shippers and especially any people who were inspired by Alec as a lgbtq character. Malec is one of my favorite ships too and I love Alec's development and courage throughout the series.
The reason why in this book Alec is portrayed as bisexual and not gay is simply because I had this idea in my head and this strong and great female character, Sky, and I really couldn't picture her with anyone else.
