Delilah's P.O.V
I get a call late that night.
"Aunt Nicole?" I ask picking up the cell phone.
"No this is the Connecticut Police Department. This this Officer Smith speaking."
Fear bubbles out of me. Why does this police officer have my aunts phone?
"Uh- okay. Well can I help you sir?" I stutter out.
"It's about your aunt Ms. Heran," I inhale a shaky breath.
"Ye-yes?"
"Your aunt, she got a car accident."
And that my friend is how my good day came to an end.
