For the next week, we meet there and did our work together. We didn't talk much but it was nice. I had decided upon a project idea and was almost done with it.

It was difficult to complete as I had to talk to others that I didn't know well and say something that I normally wouldn't say. I decided to take pictures before and after I called someone beautiful.

It was going really well surprisingly. I had used Sharon, the man at the grocery store, my neighbor, my friends at school and even some random people that went to my school.

I had so many good pictures that I was sure I was going to get a good grade. But, there was still one thing missing. I wanted to ask Ink but, it was different.

Telling Ink he was beautiful was way different than telling someone else they were beautiful. I couldn't understand why though. I was putting all the pictures into a video clip. It was late when I had finished and Ink looked like he was packing up.

He said his goodbyes and was about to leave when I stopped him.

"Hey-hey Ink!" he stopped and looked at me. Slightly surprised that I had actually called him. Normally I responded with mumbles and always in a whisper.

"Yeah?" he asked, walking back over. I moved a chair and stood a few feet in front of it.

"Sit?" I asked, not wanting to force him to. He gave me a confused look but sat. I heard a loud clap and we both looked and saw Sharon. She knew what was happening.

"What's this about?" he asked, his face getting a tint of red.

"I-it isn't anything maj-major." I stuttered out. I focused on my words for a moment and stopped myself from stuttering. I snapped a picture and then went back to talking to Ink. "I'm working on a project and it's about how words can make someone's day or ruin it."

"That seems amazing!" he encouraged, clearly happy with the idea.

"An-And I just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful." I held my breath and waited with my camera up for his reaction. His face went even redder but he smiled brightly. I took the picture and admired how cute it was.

"Thanks (Y/n)! But I don't think anyone can be as beautiful as you," he said. We both froze at his words. He quickly got up and practically ran from the café screaming he was sorry. I was still too stunned to move. A few seconds later, after I had finally processed what had happened, I started giggling.

I don't know why, but him saying that made me so happy. I packed up all of my stuff and headed home to put the finishing touches on my project.

When I went to the café the next day, Ink wasn't there. He also wasn't there the day after that. I was starting to get worried. Sharon had told me he always came in but always left before I came in. I had two days until I had to present and honestly not seeing him would make it difficult.

That's when I got an idea. This all depended on if Ink would show. I wrote a note and handed it to Sharon.

"Can you please give this to Ink when he comes in tomorrow?" I asked. She nodded and tucked it next to the register. I thanked her and headed out to ask the other people I had taken pictures of if they would go to the café on the day I had to present. I had gotten the emails of the random people so I could get in contact with them if they had wanted to see the finished project.

The rest of the day I got prepared for the largest step out of my comfort zone I ever planned to take.

~~~~~~~~
It was the day of my presentation. I had invited everyone I took a picture of and the rest of my classmates. My teacher sat in the front and so did the people from my photos. However, I didn't see Ink. I was upset. I decided that I had to do it no matter what and stepped out in front of the screen.
I focused on my words and started.
"Hello! My names (Y/n) (L/n) and I'm so glad that you could all come here today. Some of you may know why you're all here but others may not. Over the past week, I have been gathering evidence about how words can change a person's entire mood. This compilation should explain it better." and with that I pressed play and the compilation started going through the pictures. Each picture showed a person and the before and after of me calling them beautiful.
The audience was in an awe type of silence. They watched as the pictures changed from one person to another. The second to last slide said,
'These pictures are taken mere seconds between each other. It is the before and after of them being called beautiful. Think of what you say!'   the last slide went and that was the one it stayed on. It was the slide of Ink.
I stepped off the stage and smiled. I had done it. I turned around to pick up my bag and as I did, I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist.
"It was amazing." They whispered to me. I felt my heart jump at the voice.
"Ink," I said, smiling wide. I turned around and gave him a hug. He hugged me back and swung me around a bit. When we pulled apart, he was smiling and blushing.
We stood there, only a few inches apart.
"Sorry!" I said, realizing how close we were. He laughed and let me step back. I stood there and looked at my feet. I didn't know what to say.
"(Y/n)?" Ink finally asked.
"Y-yes?"
"Will you-Will you go on a-a date with me?" he asked suddenly. I was surprised at the question but slowly nodded.
His smile went even wider as he grabbed my hand and started to drag me to the door.
