"you're a liar tom chancellor,"

friday stood at her locker, her back against it and her fingers digging into the palms of her hands as she watched petar lance beat the shit out of a frail looking kid.

she'd usually notice this every other week, but petar had been up to a lot this month, and she had always put her two cents in.

"why don't you stop lance," she spat on the floor as she pushed her body off of the rusty lockers and awaited petar to weave through the crowd of busy students on a tuesday evening.

"why don't you make me, thursday?" he mocked.

friday only chuckled as she pulled out her hair tie and vaseline from her back pocket. she tied her hair up as she listened to him call out every day of the week.

"petar, i'm with all that fuck shit, so don't test me" she smiled.

and just like every other time they had gotten into it, the students stopped and looked on.

"ya think he can actually get a punch in this time?" one student whispered to another.

all whispering ceased as the geography teacher came barging into the crowds breaking up everything before it could've been a thing.

"not today friday, it's tuesday and i'd like you to be here for the rest of the week," he rolled his eyes and he led petar down the hall to his class, "this isn't over, see me at the counselor's office this afternoon" he yelled.

friday only waved him off as she bent down to help the frail kid pick up his books and lunch.

"hey, you okay?" friday asked as she handed him his physics book.

"thank you," he said as he gave her a tight lipped smile, "for helpi-"

"owen! they're bringing fortnite on mobile phones now!! that's fuckin' am-" tom yelled as he ran towards him, but briefly stopped when he noticed friday.

"that's fuckin' great!" friday commented as she watched the two exchange glances.

"hi, i'm frid-" she was gonna introduce herself, but owen cut her off.

"oh, he knows. he knows, he sure do," owen whistled as he quickly left the pair alone.

"well, bye i guess," friday mumbled as she watched his retreating figure bend the corner and head up the stairs.

she faced her attention to tom and she noticed that he had not stopped staring at her. his cheeks were tainted as he blushed and his glasses were slowly sliding down his nose.

friday slowly reached up and pushed it back in place, smiling nonetheless.

"well, aren't you cute," she stated as his cheeks deepened in color.

he hadn't said a word, he just stood there and watched her. he watched everything about her. he hadn't realized that the beauty mark above her lip was more noticeable up close, it looked bigger than before.

he scanned her face, smooth dark skin, kind of oily, but a glowy type of oily. he watched that one curl that always flew out of place fall to her eyes and listened as she groaned softly. her curls were far too long to stay in place, even in a ponytail. he had noticed that a long time ago.

"you don't talk much-" she was gonna say, but a football came spiraling through the air and smacked the mute boy who stood in front of her.

"oh my fuck," she gasped out. turning to the culprit, it was none other than petar.

"that fat fuck," she whispered as she took her bag off of her shoulders and pulled out her math textbook.

tom watched from the floor as friday dashed towards petar. petar had ran, but tom knew friday would catch him. she had ran track since middle school and as they bent the corner, tom started to feel light headed.

shortly after, no less than three minutes, friday bent the corner with a triumphant smile and with a mistreated math textbook.

tom only chuckled as he threw himself back on to his backpack.

"god, it's swollen," she pressed a finger on it and he flinched, "does it hurt much?"

tom quickly shook his head no and listened as a soft chuckle escaped Friday's lips, slowly taking his pain away.

"you're a liar tom chancellor," she smiled and he felt his hands get clammy and his heart raced.

'she knows my name,' he squealed inside.

man, was he whipped.
