Chapter 22

YUWANA POV:

I never imagined that I would see him. The mere sight of him gave me a shock that felt like a heart attack. He is the person who made me feel alive and special. I was completely shocked when I saw his face.

He had a big smile on his face and looked at me lovingly, but I felt different. He had caused me unnecessary worry all this time. I had conflicting feelings—I wanted to slap him and hug him tightly at the same time. "Alorn, stop smiling, will you? I had a heart attack when I saw you here. I..." He interrupted me and hugged me tightly.

I also hugged him tightly and beat his chest while I calmed down. He held my hand and made me look into his eyes. His eyes showed pure adoration and love for me. Those eyes had haunted me for years, and now I finally saw them filled with love. I felt like this moment with him would never come again, so I cherished it.

He held my hand and guided me to sit on a chair next to him. He didn't let go of my hand for a second, and his touch sent shivers down my spine. I lost track of time as I had seen him with his friends in the parking area before. Keith also attended the wedding and shared his insecurities about marriage. He loved Janet but was afraid that everything would change after they got married. Other men supported him, and they were scolded by their partners.

Lost in my thoughts, I forgot about why I had come here and looked at him with questioning eyes. "Explain," I said when he remained silent. "Yuwana Teren, you are the most beautiful person I have ever met. You complete me and make me experience happiness and sadness. You are the light in my dark life, and your smile brightens my day. You are my everything, the special one. I would go crazy if I ever lost you. So, will you be mine for eternity? Let's leave our past behind and start a new life together. I love you so much that words and actions can't fully express it. I love you, my beauty." His every word was filled with so much affection that it melted my heart. The word "beauty" made me blush, and I hid my face in his shoulder.

"That's not fair, beauty. I always express my feelings, but you always make me wait. So now I want to hear the words I've been waiting years for. Miss Yuwana Teren, I'm waiting for your answer," he said, looking devilishly handsome. "Alorn Pegem, you are the person who captured my heart, my first love, my first attraction, and my source of strength. Thinking about you has kept me going, and not a single day has passed without thoughts of you. You, and only you, exist in my life. I love you so much, my love." Finally, I spoke the words that had been buried deep in my heart, words I had always postponed saying.

"Beauty, I have both good and shocking news for you. So hold on," he said, tugging my hair to the side, a nickname he had given me since our last vacation. Destiny has played its game, and now we have been reunited. Seven years ago, you left me without a word, and you know it was a big mistake. We could have been together back then, but we were both so confused that we didn't confront each other." I listened attentively to him.

"Although that night shouldn't have been so intense, it led to the creation of our beautiful Yuron, Yuwana. That night, both you and I were drunk. I couldn't bear to see you with that playboy, so I took you out of the party. I don't remember how our emotions took over and we ended up in bed, but I was shocked when I woke up naked. I cursed that day because I lost you, but now I don't regret it anymore. We have our son Yuron, Yuwana, the embodiment of our love." I was shocked by his revelation.

Seeing me speechless, he addressed my unspoken question. "Ron called me and informed me about the party. I had been searching for the girl I had been with that night, and later, when I consulted the resort, it turned out to be you. At first, I was shocked and couldn't believe how we ended up together, but then I felt relieved that it was you and not someone else. I'm sorry for the difficult times we went through, but now let's focus on our present and future." With that, he gazed at my lips and gently traced them with his finger. A shiver ran down my spine, and my breath hitched. My body was on fire, and his touch felt delightful.

His finger was soon replaced by his lips, and he kissed me with passion and love. Our tongues intertwined, and we tasted each other. His hand roamed my back, and I grabbed his hair with my hand. The kiss grew more intense, and we got lost in our own world. We relived that same night when we had lost control, but this time, we truly felt each other. I loved him deeply, and we no longer had any regrets.

I felt something heavy on my waist, and when I tried to move it, it didn't budge. I groaned and turned around to find a guy sleeping on his stomach, his lower body covered by the duvet. I tried to move his hand again, but he pulled me closer, and our skin touched. Memories of the passionate night we shared flooded my mind. My face turned red, and I blushed, hiding my face. He made me look at him and kissed my forehead. "Don't hide from me, beauty. You're beautiful inside and out. You look even more beautiful when you blush, but I don't want our son to see you as a red tomato." He kissed my jawline and went toward the bathroom.

Alorn had left hickeys on my neck and stomach, forcing me to wear a scarf to conceal them. He returned from the balcony after taking a call and hugged me from behind. Resting his head on my shoulder, he looked at our reflection in the dressing mirror. "So, are we ready to meet our son? He wants to meet us and is happy to know about us. Mom explained everything to him in a way he could understand, and he's excited to hear about us."

His words filled me with happiness, and I was glad that Yuron understood our situation. Our son had grown up so fast. I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror and wished that we would always be this happy in each other's embrace. Destiny had once torn us apart, but now, after years, we were finally together. We couldn't change what had happened in the past, but we hoped for a better future. Then I said to him, "I am destined to be yours."
