ALORN POV:

One day, while using my sister's mobile phone, a message popped up with a picture of the girl who has been on my mind lately. Her picture was stunning, and I found out her name is Yuwana.

Her name is as beautiful as she is. I searched for her and found more pictures. She truly is beautiful, and I could see her face clearly. She has captivating brown eyes and long, curly hair.

Without her glasses, she looked even more beautiful.I found myself thinking about her most of the time, but my thoughts were interrupted by Keith's parents. He was upset because his parents weren't coming this year either.

He misses them a lot, but they are always busy. Lately, he has been preoccupied with thoughts of them and has been skipping his classes. He hasn't been attending regularly and has been feeling lonely.

My dad talked to him and helped resolve his problems. He seems better now. I haven't been seeing much of Yuwana these days because our schedules don't align.

I only catch glimpses of her a few times. Over the course of a year, this strange feeling inside me has grown stronger.

On our way home from my school, while walking with my sister, I bumped into a school friend, and we started chatting. My sister walked ahead, and after a few minutes, she called me. She was with someone, a girl.

After saying goodbye to my friend, I went toward them, and our eyes met. She was also looking at me, and I couldn't help but be captivated by her beautiful eyes. It felt like I was getting lost in them, and as I approached her, she looked away.My sister introduced her, and she laughed at my sister's joke.

I couldn't take my eyes off her, and though she seemed uncomfortable, I couldn't resist her smile. My sister suggested that we all go to school together, and we both agreed. I'm not sure what made me agree, but it felt like the right decision.

We parted ways, and I went to my room to change my clothes. I eagerly anticipated the next day, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. This was the first time I found myself nervous about talking to someone. After having dinner and saying good night, I went to bed.

Sleep was elusive, but after tossing and turning for a while, I finally drifted off. Morning came faster than expected, and I went to have breakfast. I got ready for school earlier than usual, and my sister teased me for being ready ahead of time.

At 10:10, I went outside and waited for her. I was impatient to meet her, yet unsure of how to start a conversation. I saw her walking swiftly in my direction.

She was looking at me and appeared to be in a hurry. As she approached, she took a breath and relaxed. Just as I was about to say hi, she spoke at the same time.

She apologized, but I reassured her that it wasn't necessary, and we greeted each other. She gestured for us to walk, and we started walking together.

There was a moment of silence, and then she asked me how long it took for me to reach school.

I replied, "30 minutes," and she commented that I walk really fast.

I didn't expect her to speak so calmly, but I liked her way of talking. She talked about the bus and its problems, and I simply listened to her.

Her voice was pleasant to hear. She asked me when my classes ended, and upon learning that hers ended 10 minutes later than mine, she told me not to wait for her.

However, my instincts told me to wait. So, I told her that I would wait for her. She mentioned that she enjoys listening to K-pop, which surprised me because I found it boring.

Yet, my subconscious reminded me that everyone has their own preferences, and I agreed with that.

We reached near the entrance of her school, bid each other goodbye, and went our separate ways.

My school was only five minutes away from hers, so I headed to my class. Throughout the day, I felt happy as I reminisced about her.

I wished that I could spend more time with her and hoped that it would always be this way.
