YUWANA POV:

While we were on our way to our dad's house, we encountered traffic and came to a halt. Yuron, holding his toy, started falling asleep, so I gently rested his head on my lap and stroked his hair.

With his brown hair resembling mine, he was a quiet sleeper. Ania was occupied with her phone, so I decided to open the car window and look outside.

As I gazed at the buildings, my breath caught when I noticed a billboard being put up.

The person in the photo made my heart skip a beat—I couldn't believe it was Alorn.

Alorn looked devilishly handsome in a blue suit, and he had changed. After we parted ways years ago, I hadn't heard anything about him.

We left that place and settled in New York. Initially, it was difficult to forget him, and I shed many tears, but with the support of my parents, I managed to overcome it and become stronger.

He was the first person I truly connected with, and he treated me with care, making me feel special. He was possessive and would get jealous when his friends talked to me.

His parents were also wonderful, and we had a great time together. Seeing him now, with his altered appearance but increased handsomeness, I wished him well.

My chain of thoughts was interrupted by Yuron's movement, so I carefully settled him back in his seat. Running around and contemplating had probably tired him out.

Wherever we went, people adored Yuron, whether at the park or the play center. The car started moving again, and I couldn't read the topic on the billboard.

Even after all these years, I still had feelings for Alorn and cared about him. It didn't seem right, but it felt comforting to my heart.

Thirty minutes later, we arrived at our dad's house. Yuron was fast asleep, so I carried him and stepped outside.

My mom rushed over and hugged me from the side, being careful not to wake him up. She took Yuron inside while I embraced my dad.

He owned a company there, and I currently worked there as well. Recently, he announced me as the CEO, a role I wasn't prepared for, but my dad assured me I could handle it.

My mom had taken care of Yuron while I worked, so they had developed a strong bond. I made sure to spend time with him and took him on holidays.

My mom and dad spoiled him a lot, and he adored them as well. We entered the house and sat in the living room. My dad turned off the TV and headed to the garden.

He might have had some guests, possibly Uncle Grayn.Carrying the bags, I went to my room and found Yuron peacefully sleeping. I kissed his forehead and went to freshen up.

Afterward, I went downstairs to the kitchen. My mom was busy cooking lunch, so I grabbed a glass of water and went to greet Uncle Grayn.

He was a good friend of my dad's and mine as well. He loved Yuron dearly and wanted to treat him like a grandson.

Uncle Grayn had a son named Troy, who happened to be the same age as me. He was a good friend, and he also adored Yuron.

He had attempted to pursue a romantic relationship with me, but I only saw him as a friend. I didn't want to enter a relationship and potentially hurt Yuron.

While it might not hurt me, I didn't want to put Yuron through any pain.I greeted Uncle Grayn, and he congratulated me on my new position, asking about Yuron.

I updated him on Yuron's well-being and we strolled around the garden, which refreshed my mood and brought me a sense of peace.

After finishing lunch, I went to wake up Yuron, as he hadn't eaten and was still asleep. I brought him downstairs, and he eagerly ran toward my dad, settling on his lap.

Yuron kissed my dad's cheek and gave him a hug.I fed Yuron, which proved to be a challenging task as he constantly moved around.

I changed his clothes and handed him his toy. My mom arrived and took him away, likely to play with Rayn, their pet. As I was about to settle, my phone rang, and I answered it.

"Hello, Troy. How are you?" I greeted him.

"Hey, I'm doing well. How are Yuron and yourself?" He responded with a cheerful tone.

"He's doing well, and so am I. But when are you returning?" He had gone to Paris for a business meeting.

"I'm already on the plane and will be there soon," he informed me, surprising me.

"You told me it would take much longer," I reminded him, as he initially mentioned being away for two weeks, not one.

"Yeah, but... I got bored and missed Yuron," he confessed, and I could practically hear him smiling at the thought of Yuron.

"Oh, how could I forget about your love for him? Have you chosen your outfit for tonight's party?" I inquired since he didn't have much time for shopping.

"Yeah, your mom already sent it to my place."

"Oh, I'll see you tonight then. Bye."

"Bye, Yuw." With that, we ended the call.
