My head was spinning, and it felt like I was losing my mind. I slowly looked over at the examination table, and there lay her dead body, covered by a thick, dark blanket. The reek of death hung heavily in the air, and her mother was sitting by her body, wailing uncontrollably. She ignored the nurses who placed their hands on her shoulders in an effort to calm her down. I still couldn't comprehend what was happening.
