Happiness - The Cynic
Happiness is a hoax born of delusion,
An apparition induced by desperation,
Pretentious children's daydream,
Pacifistic ideal birthed by imagination,
Impermanent blissful ignorance,
Nullification of reality,
Euphoric memoir of transience,
Salvation for the hopelessly listless,
Sweet poison of hallucination.
