CHAPTER 11: God in Disguise

(Sienna Autumn Zynix's P.O.V.)

Matapos kong makaalis ng infirmary, didiretso na sana ako sa room kaso nakita kong 23 minutes na lang bago ang next subject.

Kaya naisipan kong pumunta na lang sa puno na nakita ko.

Matapos kong makaupo sa damuhan sa lilim ng puno, isinandal ko ang likod ko sa katawan nito at inilagay sa lap ko ang bag.

Ano kaya magandang gawin?

*ehem*

Naisip kong kumanta na lang.
Bukod kasi sa nag-iisa lang ako, hobby ko rin 'yan at paboritong kanta rin.

(His P.O.V.)

I was silently resting on a branch of a tree when something disturbed my repose.

A voice.

"You, and me
We got along just fine
But deep inside I know there is more."

I searched for that voice and luckily, I found it. Beneath the shades of the tree where I am resting.

A girl that I can't clearly see the face, rather because of the position I'm in. Only the top of her head.

I just let her continue singing since it does not disturb my rest. I close my eyes and continue what I am doing.

"Right next to you

Can't fight this feeling
I'm taking chances now

I think I'm lying if I tell that it's ugly because I am really mesmerized by the calmness yet lovely voice I'm hearing right now.

Sh*t! What's with that voice? I feel like it's directly dedicated on me!

*snore*

I look at the girl beneath me and found out that she's already sleeping.

I jump off from the branch where I'm in and fixed myself when I landed on the ground.

I turn my attention on that sleeping girl.
