CAN'T LET YOU GO

~• Chapter 9 •~

"Arrasseo, we'll be right there."

I placed down my phone and without thinking, I grabbed Jin's wrist as I pulled him with me and we started running together.

"Where are we going?" He asked

"We can't risk the last train can we?" I managed to talk.

Just then, from a distant, I saw the train leaving.

"Mianhe CEO nim, the train just left" The manager left a voice message.

I pulled my hair in frustration.

"Now what?" I groaned in frustration

"CEO nim, I know a place to stay at nearby" Jin noticed my sullen expression.

My eyes widened when he pulled me with him.

We checked in, inside the cottage.

"Welcome couple, so here's your room, enjoy" The lady greeted us as she led us to our room and gave us our keys.

The room was all made of wood, it's cozy, and there are two sleeping mats on the floor.

It was just a simple hut.

That night.....

Me and Jin laid down on our sleeping beds side by side awkwardly.

"Don't worry CEO nim, I can help us get back to Seoul tomorrow" Jin said in his raspy voice

"Jin.. Stop calling me CEO, enough with the formalities when we're out of work" I muttered under my breath.

"Well.. For me this is still work." He stated as a matter of fact.

Just then, there was a long maddening of silence between us.

"Jin, are you still mad at me?" I broke the silence

"Ani.. Why would I be?"

"Are you really sure? How about when I left you without saying goodbye?"

"About that.. It's long forgotten Kim Jisoo"

I closed my eyes feeling relieved that he called me by my name again.

"Then why did you and the boys mess up things? I also heard that you planned this with Jimin and the others."

"It's nothing"

"Please stop lying.. If you're really mad at me then vent out your anger in me, go punch me or torture me physically if you want to. Just don't involve me and my father's company, let's set aside our personal matters.. I'm tired Jin"

"I'm also tired Jisoo... When you left me, all I felt was anger and madness in me, I wanna get my revenge on you through this. I blame you for everything, that day when we were supposed to be dating, my mom was dying in the hospital, but she forced me to still see you even though you weren't answering my calls, the next day I woke up, still no sign of you, and much worse, my mom died that same day."

I turned around to face him, his tears were falling.

My tears also started falling down, I cupped his face with my hands as I wiped his tears with my thumb.

"If only I knew oppa, I could have love you better. I shouldn't have left you. Mianhe jinja.. I'm sorry that I wasn't there, it's indeed all of my fault, I curse to myself for being selfish. But for now... I hope you can give me another chance."

"It's too late Jisoo"

"It's not too late. Oppa, let me ask you this..... Can we start over again? "

My heart ached as his tears flowed endlessly.

"Oppa.. Just give me another chance to be better." I said with pleading tone

"Then let's start over"  He responded then I smiled

We both hugged each other and cuddled through the night.
