Jisoo's POV

I feel exhausted, my brain can't seem to focus on this new topic in history class.

"Yah gwaenchana?" Nayeon, my seatmate asked me.

"I'm fine." I forced a smile

"You seem so pale. You can't lie to us Jisoo ssi." Jihyo, my other classmate seating in front of me spoke.

"I really am fine guys."

"Just tell us what's the problem, we won't tell anyone about this." Nayeon said

Honestly speaking, whenever I have problems, I'd either to talk to my Blackpink squad or to Nayeon and Jihyo. They're all trusted.

"Alright.. It's about Jin." I said

"What about him?" Jihyo asked

"My dad wants me to go abroad to US because he wanted me to learn how to manage a company, because I will be the successor of it, and because he believes that I could solve its verge of being bankrupted." I told Nayeon and Jihyo everything.

They nodded and just advised me to stick to what my heart tells me, but my mind says otherwise.

Ugh! What am I gonna do?

Bell Rings...

I grabbed my backpack as I dashed outside the classroom and made sure not to bump unto my boyfriend.

I can't tell Jin I'm leaving for US today.

My dad even blackmailed me that if I won't go, he'll make Jin and his family suffer

Now you see how evil my dad is! He's cunning, ambitious, and got blinded by riches and power.

I have no other choice, I have to do this for my family's legacy, my future which I imagined being with Jin that won't happen anymore, and most of all to protect Jin from my dad's threats.

I slowly packed my things up, me and my dad would be meeting each other at the airport.

I'd have to finish my studies there in US.

I feel sadness crept within me. I don't wanna leave Jin. I wanna tell him right now what was going on, on why I had to leave suddenly, but I can't.. He'd hate me more, and my dad would kill him if he'd find out I would contact him.

Jin's POV

"Wow look who we have here? Such an active happy boy, what service can we offer for you?" The florist smiled at me.

"Thanks. Well I was planning to buy baby blossoms for my girlfriend, we will be going on a date today" I smiled back at the florist.

"Well here it is. Discounted just for a sweet boyfriend like you. Your girlfriend must be so lucky" The lady handed me the bouquet of flowers.

"Well. Thanks" I grabbed my money from my wallet and paid

I couldn't wait to give Jisoo her favorite type of flower.

I went straight to the park in front of the namsan tower, we'll meet each other here, and I sat on the benches smiling to myself like a fool.

I bought her favorite soya drink and red bean dessert. And I bought a diamond heart necklace just for her.

It was our usual daily routine. I couldn't count the times we'd go on dates, and not even once did it failed nor got postponed.

I have been waiting.

It has already been past 20 minutes...

30 minutes

50 minutes

1 hour

Still she didn't arrived, she must've been busy.

That's impossible, she had never been this late, usually she'd only be late by minutes

Perhaps, did something happen?

My insides started churning, I felt uneasy and worried.

I decided to dial her phone.

Ring...ring....ring...ring...ring.. Toot toot..

Huh? Why can't I contact her? Did she just placed her phone on airplane mode?

I called Nayeon, her classmate.

"Hello, is Jisoo there?" I asked

"Well..err.. Umm.. She's busy with school works..Bye!" Nayeon instantly hung up on the other line.

I don't want to be that annoying boyfriend, so I decided to keep on waiting for her.

Suddenly my phone rang, I smiled as I thought it was her..... But it wasn't

Mom is calling.....

My Mom? Why is she calling? Did something happen?

"Hello Eomma" I accepted the call.

"Is this the son of Mrs. Kim? " The other line spoke but it was a voice of another person, my eyebrows furrowed.

"Yes, it's her son" I answered in confusion.

"Well... Your mom is rushed in Namjan Hospital because she lost her consciousness, luckily I found her."

"Mwo?" My jaw dropped as I felt my hairs stood on end.

I instantly grabbed the gifts for Jisoo as I hailed a cab.

"Sir make it straight to Namjan Hospital jebal!" I told the driver in panic.

Mianhe Jisoo.. I guess it would be the first time that our date would be flopped.
