Austin's P.O.V
My eyes burned. My heart ached. My stomach was about to explode. I knew she would never love me they way I loved her. She would never feel the same way I feel about her.
I knew I needed to calm myself down, so I ran to the bathroom. I splashed the refreshing water on my face, to rejuvenate myself one again. Then I harshly grabbed at a towel to dry my damp face with.
My eyes soon started to wander around my bathroom. The plain blue walls, toilet, nothing special. Then I came across a mirror. I stood there staring at my reflection, and started to over think things, like I always do. Was I good enough for her? I don't deserve her.
Before I could pick on myself anymore, my phone buzzed.
Hey, u wanna join us at the summer festival 2nite?
-Robert
I didn't know if I want to go out in public, I mean, look at me. I'm an emotional wreck.
I quickly responded.
Is it only u coming? Cause u are boring.
-Austin
See, Rob is one of my best friends, so it is completely normal for me to be rude and sarcastic to him.
He soon replied.
Aha. Very funny, Mr. Mahone! And no, it's not only me who will be coming. Anna, Alex, Raquel & Mary are coming.
-Robert
My heart stopped. I completely froze.

Mary.
Her name gave me butterflies that lasted for infinity.
I've knew her for practically my whole life and we have always hung out together, but not legitimately together. Like, as a group with Anna, Alex, Raquel & Rob. Which in my case, made me extremely depressed in so many ways.
I got back to the text.
I'm in.

A few seconds passed.

I lightly smiled to myself. This was going to be a interesting night for me.
