Only You (Sequel to Why Try)

Chapter twenty three

"Hi babe you okay?" Jade's Geordie accent beamed through the speaker of my phone, I absolutely love her accent.

"Hey, yeah you?" I asked as I closed Wolf's bedroom door quietly. Him and Ted have finally gone down for their afternoon nap and Justin is out with Alfredo.

Over the past say six weeks, mine and Jade's friendship has improved massively. We go out for lunch and drinks, she comes over to mine and I got to hers. The boys have a laugh with Jade and enjoy her being around and they also love having their sister around too. Harlow is a little gem, I absolutely love her and her little accent which is a weird mix of Geordie and American but her voice just sounds so cute.

At first Tiana, Hailey and Kendall were a little weary of Jade and her being back after what happened in the past. I totally understand where they are coming from because I was the same but like I said before, I'm 23 now things happen in life and somethings you just have to get over and the 'fued' was one of them. I didn't make amends with Jade for me, I did it for Justin, Wolf, Teddy and Harlow.

When Harlow came into our lives it made me think a lot about the fact that my babies now have a sister and they need to have a bond with her and I wasn't gonna stop that just because I didn't get along with Jade because they would of been selfish of me.

"Yeah am alright. Have you seen Justin's recent post on Instagram?"
"No why? What is it, Ive just put the boys down for their nap" I reached the bottom step of the stairs, I'm a little confused. Jade told me to the look at the post so I clicked on Instagram and typed in his name.
His profile loaded up and so did the picture and my heart sank a little. I put the phone back to my ear and let out a deep sigh, something is always happening in my life.

"I honestly don't know what to say. I'm actually embarrassed". I took the phone away from my ear again and put it on loudspeaker and put my phone on the kitchen counter so I can make myself a strong cup of coffee.

"I don't know what his game is but I'm not here for it, it's kinda shady you know?. I'm gonna get off the phone as I'm driving but don't you're through Bluetooth but I'm on my way to yours anyway because we leave soon" Jade said and shortly after and hung up the phone. I let out another sigh and clicked on the photo again to have a proper look at it.

It was Hailey and Justin, you can tell it was ages ago because of Justin's hair, he's grown it out now. To me it's a little inappropriate for them to have a photo like that because she's pressed up against his back with her arms wrapped around his neck and she's kissing the back of his neck. I honestly don't know why they would take a photo like that and then for Justin to post it?. It's so embarrassing for me to see.

I heard the front door open and little feet running towards me.

"Bee!" Harlow came running over to me so I picked her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey Blu, you okay?". We call her Blu because of her name and it's just stuck with everyone and she loves it.
She gave me a hug and I placed her down on the kitchen counter.

Jade put her things down on the kitchen table and let out a sigh.
"Have you text him or anything?" I shook my head as I peeled an orange for Blu and gave it to her.

"No, he's out with Alfredo at the minute on the Segways around Venice Beach".
"Go to him"
"What? No he's out"
"So? Got to him and ask him what he's playing at. It was wrong of him to post that photo. I'll stay here and wait for the boys to wake up, honestly go!"
I agreed with her and got Harlow down from the kitchen counter and put my Vans on. My outfit is pretty simple because I've been packing and I fly out tonight so I don't really care about my outfit. I'm wearing a pair of shorts with an oversized crew neck and my hair in a messy bun, it's brown again but don't worry my grey will be back.
