Only You (Sequel to Why Try)

Chapter nine

-3 months later Aribella found out she was pregnant-
If someone would of told me last year that I would be addicted to fried pickles I would've laughed in their face but oh my god they are something else. I have lost count on the amount of bowls of fried pickles I have eaten today and it's only 3PM,I just can't stop.

When I was pregnant with Wolf my back hurt but not this bad, I've been in bed most days and it's getting me down because I feel like I'm not being a good mother to Wolf. He asks me to play with him but I have to say no and his little face just drops and I know it upsets him but I can't move that much right now so Justin being a little saviour plays with him and it's mostly football in the house which I have banned but boys will be boys you know. Justin also takes him out to the park or to see family and friends, Wolf loves it and it gives me time to rest.

Since me and Justin told Wolf he was going to be a big brother, there hasn't been a day where he hasn't spoke to his baby brother. There will be nights, evenings, where he would come and sit next to me with his head resting on my arm and he will slowly run his fingers over my bump and talk to his brother. It's a beautiful sight to see and I am so excited to see them both grow up with eachother. After bickering with justin for a couple hours we finally decided on the name Teddy for our baby boy, we think Wolf and Teddy sound nice together and we love the name. Honestly the amount of comments I have had from moms is unreal. They have been commenting tips and where to buy the best baby books from and they have all been so helpful like so many things to do with a baby have changed since I had Wolf and that was a year and a half ago and I know that sounds weird because it wasn't that long ago but things have changed it's all you should do this or you shouldn't do that and I'm just like really?.

The bedroom door swung open and Wolf walked in.
"Mom I painted a picture for you"
"Aw let me see" I sat up in bed, wincing in pain. I reached out and he passed the picture and oh my god it's so cute. He's painted himself, Justin and me with a big belly he is so creative.
"Do you like it?"
"I love it baby, it's great. I'll get dad to put it up on the fridge. Where is he?"
"Downstairs" he ran towards to the door.
"Dad! Picture, fridge"
"Bring it here" I heard Justin yell from downstairs just about figuring out what his son was saying to him.
"You come and get it"
"No" I giggled to myself, these boys make my life.
Wolf is only one and a half but he walks and talks so much like his speech and sentence structure is so good you can have a conversation with him and he's developing so well, my baby.
Wolf huffed and pulled a face which made me giggle. The only thing he doesn't get yet is that when Justin or I ask him to do something he has to do it because if he doesn't then he'll think he can get away with stuff but sorry buddy it doesn't work with us.
I opened my bedside table draw and picked up my cream to help my back pain. I applied it, with some effort and grabbed my phone.

Hey babe, I haven't seen in a while and I just wanted to know how you are x
I put my phone down and began to flick through the chan-. Teddy began to kick, I looked down to see my belly moving. Every time he does it my heart melts I love the feeling.
I phone chimed, my girl has replied.

Hey baby! I know I haven't been out for a while, just spending time with Harper but my mom has moved closer to me now because of what happened so she's having her this weekend. What are you up to? X
A big smile appeared on my face and I typed back.

Yaaay momma Mandy!! I need to see her soon, it's been too long. Pattie has asked if she can have Wolf every Friday night and Saturday daytime so he's at her house tonight so do you want to come over? I can get the other girls to come over if you want and we can have a girls night. I think we all need it. Justin won't be here, he's got stuff to do but if he hasn't I'll tell him to find something to do haha.
