The Painful Truth

-Mia's POV-

I listened as Taylor kicked Xavier out while pretending to be asleep, then I heard Xavier talk,

"I am nothing like my father." He said and then I heard his footsteps fade. I frowned and Taylor came to the chair where Xavier was sitting, I couldn't stand this anymore. I sat up and looked Taylor straight in the eye

"What was that about!" I said raising my voice, Taylor looked up at me and she was frowning in confusion

"What?" She said

"Firstly why did you kick Xavier out and secondly why did he say that about his father!" I said raising my voice even more,

"Mia?" She said softly,

"No! Don't Mia me! Tell me the truth Taylor!" I said, my head started pounding at all this confusion and this shouting

"I don't want you to get hurt Mia" Taylor said fiddling with her hands

"Taylor I hate secrets so what are you keeping from me!" I said a bit more calmer

"You need to ask Xavier, it's not my right to tell you the truth about everything." She said while standing up and leaving the room.

I sighed and picked up my phone.

Me:Hi Xavier, we need to talk.

I pressed send and put the phone down on the beside table,

I could hardly sleep the previous night because of what Xavier had said, I was going home today and I couldn't wait.

I got up out of bed and started packing my bags when someone knocked on my door

"Come in" I said folding a shirt

"It's me." I turned around and saw Xavier standing by the door. I sighed and I remembered what I had sent him last night

"Hi" I said coldly,

"You said we needed to talk?" He said looking worried

"Yes, I'm just going to say it straight. Xavier why did you say you were nothing like your father last night?" I said,

Xavier sighed and looked down at the floor "My father is not a very kind man Mia." He said trying not to make eye contact with me,

"Mia are you ready?" Taylor said entering my room, breaking the tension,

"Yes I'm ready." I said.

I sighed and took my bag off of the bed and walked away leaving Xavier behind, I needed Taylor to tell me not Xavier because he wasn't prepared to tell me.

I put my bags into the boot of the car and got into the passenger seat while Taylor got in on the drivers side,

"Tay please tell me what both of you are keeping from me about his father!" I said raising my voice.

"Mia calm down!" She said. Taylor looked at me and frowned at my sudden turn of emotion.

"Well I need to know, firstly you hate Xavier, you acted so strangely when you saw his father, and you know I love him, but you still choose to not tell me the truth." I said a bit calmer.

We arrived at the house during our argument and I stormed out of the car and into the house up towards my room.

-Taylor's POV-

I hit my hand against the car steering wheel and sighed, I didn't know what to do.

I wanted to tell Mia about Timothy but I just didn't know how to, I sighed again and got out of the car. I opened the boot of the car and got Mia's bag out for her. I closed the boot and walked along the stone path and into the house, I looked around the house and presumed that Mia was in her room.

I walked up the stairs and into her room throwing her bag onto her bed in the process

"Mia I plan on answering and telling you everything truthfully. " I said confidently,"Really?" Mia said shocked by my words,

"Yes," I said,

"Ok, so who is Timothy?" Mia asked with such an attitude,

"Timothy is moms ex-boyfriend," I said avoiding eye contact with Mia, "What?" Mia said frowning, "So why is that such a bad thing," Mia asked,

"Timothy was jealous of dad so he did terrible things to try and break them up. He even took me away for about a week." I said holding my breath because I was so afraid of what she might say but she stayed silent in shock. "Timothy Killed... Mom and Dad.." I said gulping,

"WHAT!!!!" Mia shouted at me her voice shaking a bit,

"Why were you keeping this from me, I have a right to know stuff like this, my boyfriends father is basically a serial killer!" Mia said tears running down her cheeks,

"Mia I know I should have told you but you were so in love with Xavier and I was scared Xavier was going to hurt you because of what his father is like." I said softly.

"I'm scared too. " She said as more tears run down her cheeks. "I think you need to talk about this to Xavier..." I said. She nodded and she picked up her phone and started typing.

"I sent him a message to meet me here, I am not going there for a while" Mia said as she wiped her face.
