Chapter One: In the beginning...

Angel's POV

I stood up, and wiped the sweat off my forehead as my older sister, Jasmine tried to catch her breath.

"You wanna go another round?" I asked, and Jazz smirked as she stood up, her gold eyes shining in the light.

"Of course I do," she said.

I laughed while getting into position. "Don't be mad if you lose again."

"Who said I was losing this time?" Jazz asked with a scoff.

"I did," I said. Jazz rolled her eyes at me, and cracked her knuckles.

"Bring it," she said. I just stood in my stance as she charged towards me, ready to throw a punch. Right as she was going to hit me, I teleported behind her, and kicked her legs, making her fall as I held her arm behind her back painfully.

"Hey! You cheated!" Jazz whined as she thrashed under me.

"How did I cheat?" I asked.

"You used your powers! No fair!"

"You never said I couldn't," I shrugged as I let Jazz go, and got up.

"Ugh, whatever. Let's go again, and this time don't use your powers, or your wings," Jazz said as she got up too.

I cracked my neck, then my knuckles. "Okay."

"Okay, three, two, one-"

"Sparkle! Alicia! Come here!" Our mother shouted. Jazz groaned, and I laughed while walking up to her.

"Sorry sis, maybe next time you can win for once," I said while patting her on the back, then walked towards our castle.

Grace's POV

"Grace come here!" My mom called me from my room. I sighed while getting up.

"Coming!" I shouted. I went to where my mom was, and she was with my dad. "What's up?"

"Grace, do you remember the story we told you when you were a child? About you being a protector?" My dad said, and I nodded.

"I remember that." I used to believe it was true, and I'd tell every kid that they needed to respect me because I was going to save them.

"Well, evil has risen, and you and seven other young girls have to stop it," my dad said, making my eyes widen.

"What? What do you mean? What evil, and why do I have to fight it?" I asked.

"You're a protector."

"So you're saying, that I'm supposed to go stop some evil, because I'm a protector from a story you told me as a child? I thought that story was made up!"

"Sorry honey, but it's true. Two of the other girls, who also live in America should be here soon so-" The doorbell stopped my mother from continuing, and my dad stood up.

"That must be them," he said, and went to open the door. In came a girl with long black hair, and black wings that had blue in it. She had the face of a Chinese teen, but looked half american. She was also tall compared to me, with violet eyes.
