Brie's POV

Matt opened the cell door and led me inside. I walked to a open table and Matt stood against the wall and gave me a thumbs up. A really tall man with dark hair and eyes sat across from me. At first I pretended not to notice as I played with wolf.

"Hi there sweetheart," the man said. "I'm the Ed Nygma the Riddler."

"I'm Brie," I whispered. I don't really like people around and I just want to go to my room and play.

"Oh I'm sorry I was talking to the sweet wolf but hi Brie." We both laughed a little.

"Your funny mister. This wolf and he's a wolf," I said. Ed picked up the wolf and held it in his hand. "He's mine give him back Eddy." I stomped my foot on the ground.

"Here you go sweety. I have not seen you around why did you get locked up?"

"Mommy and daddy said I didn't act right and that they couldn't handle me. 4 years ago the left me here."

Ed sat for a moment. "Well Bri I need a new friend and it looks like you need protecting from the scary people of Arkham. I suggest we become friends. What do you think?"

The smile on my face grew. I could finally have a friend beside Matt. Someone who would be in Arkham with me. "Yes I would love that."

The two of us sat talking and playing until Matt told me I had to go back to my room.

Edwards POV

Once Brie was taken back to her room I requested a meeting with Doctor Crane. When I arrived he was looking through a file. "That Brie girl is quite a character," I said.

"You got her to talk to you. What did you do to get her to talk?" Crane asked nonchalantly as he read through a file. I sat down on the edge of Crane's desk and noticed the file was Brie. It was almost a full page of information. "For being here for 4 years there practicly nothing here. She never spoke to any of the other doctors."

"Did you scare the information out of her?"

"Haha real funny Ed. I can't do that. Brie has the mind set of a young child. I'm pretty sure she afraid of her shadow. " Suddenly a loud clap of thunder erupted through the asylum. "Something tells me it will be a long night in the asylum."

I agreed with Crane storms caused a lot of problems in the asylum. Patients scared and escapes attempted.

One of the guards Matthew came running in. "It's Brie she's freaking out," Matthew breathed out.

Crane rolled his eyes and picked up a bag before running out of the office. I returned to my cell for the night, to avoid trouble with the guards.

Cranes POV

I made it to Brie's in record time. Brie was curled in a ball with one of stuffed animals crying her head off. I kneeled in front of her pushing a piece of hair away from her face. "Brie can you calm down for me?" She shook her head no. "Can you talk to me?" Again a head shake. The fear that surrounded her was powerful. I wanted to keep her aware and afraid but out of the kindness of my heart I pushed the sedative into her neck.
