Upon hearing multiple footsteps, she pushed herself off of the wall.
"Nora?"
Nora heard Blaine's voice before she saw him, and Tifa wasn't far behind.
"Yeah, Blaine, I'm here." Nora answered.
"Ah, I suspected it was you."
"Tifa, I'm sorry I kept you waiting."
"No problem, Nora. Blaine here was keeping me company."
"Good. I just wanted you to know that it's a go for dinner."
"Great. I could eat a cow right about now."
"Maybe we just might have beef tonight." Blaine chimed in.
"Well then...I'll just go freshen up." Nora stated, embarrassed by her looks.
"I'll look after Ms. Tifa here."Blaine said, giving Tifa a warm smile.
"Alrighty then. See you soon."
Nora skirted up the staircase, leaving Blaine to entertain Tifa some more. She had a feeling that Quinton would not be approving of their little stint. To Quinton, not dressing for dinner was probably the equivalent of committing mutiny. Though she knew that Blaine and her were digging their own graves, she felt the need to step on Quinton's toes.
Now she was going to try to remove as much of Quinton's scent from her as possible.

"Did you find everything to your liking, Tifa?" Quinton asked, leaning back in his dining chair, stuffed.
"It was delicious. I haven't had a meal like that in years." Tifa answered, patting her belly.
"Well, you're more than welcome to have dinner whenever you're here." Quinton offered.
"Oh, you're too kind."
"He's really not." Nora thought to herself while yawning into the back of her hand. Dinner had come to an end and just in the nick of time. It wasn't that dinner hadn't be entertaining, in fact it was one of the best dinners Nora had had so far. The dinner had been lovely, with Blaine and Tifa dominating conversation, making jokes, and telling great tales. Quinton interjected from time to time, while Catherine remained quiet - frigid and icy as ever.
"Tired are we?" Quinton turned his attention to Nora.
"Just a bit." She replied, stifling another yawn.
"It is growing late." Blaine commented.
"I should get going. I have task to get to back at Ashokahn." Tifa said.
"Then I wouldn't want to keep you. We might as well wrap up dinner." Quinton said while rising from his chair. The rest of the dinner participants followed suit. Catherine immediately excused herself and left the dining room.
"Was it something I said?" Tifa whispered.
"No. That's how Catherine always is." Nora mentioned.
