"Yesterday, a man tried to kidnap my mate in my own estate. Excuse me if I'd like to take precaution and ensure that nothing like that happens again."

"Todd is obviously mentally disturbed. The chances of that occurring again is pretty slim.  I don't want to have someone following me about everywhere. No offense." Nora turned her attention to Tifa, the tall, slender, red haired woman who stood off to the side, keeping a distance between herself and the angry two.

"None taken." Tifa answered, her voice low and calm. "Though, may I say that I wouldn't be following you around. Your privacy would surely not be intruded upon. Mr. Reeves has plenty of guards stationed around Gillans. I will just be personally attending to you."

"Personally attending me?" Nora questioned.

"Yes, as in, keeping surveillance over you and making sure that you are not left vulnerable."

Nora shook her head, still not appeased.

"I don't want this." Nora said to Quinton, who stood across from her, behind his desk.

"Listen, I cannot have the bearer of my future heirs running about and open to risks. You seem to forget that if anything were to happen to you, my chance of reproduction becomes nil."

"So, I must be put into a bubble for kids that don't even exist yet?!" Nora's voice began to become shrill.

"Miss Nora, I understand your sentiments, but I can assure you that I won't be encroaching on your privacy. There is no bubble. You'll continue to go along freely, but just in case of any potential dangers, I'll be there to protect you." Tifa tried to reassure.

"There won't be any potential dangers...." Nora continued, unwilling to back down.

"Yes, and yet just last night you were nearly taken from beneath my nose." Quinton stated, cross. "Must you always refute every idea I come up with?"

"Must you always boss me around?"

"The actions I take are allowed by my rank. You ought to know where you stand."

"And you ought to understand that I'm not going to be stepped over." Nora exclaimed, getting heated.

This was no where near what she was expecting when she came into his office some twenty minutes ago. She had found him in his office in deep discussion with a woman she didn't recognize.   Nora was sent reeling by the jealously that quickly swept through her body. The two looked up at Nora and after introducing the woman as Tifa Deevo, Quinton went on to say that he'd hired her to be her bodyguard.

"I don't want to 'cause any trouble." Tifa interceded, wary.

"You are doing no such thing. I called you here for a specific task and it will be completed.  Quinton stressed, looking pointedly at Nora.

"I don't want someone breathing down my neck."

"Blaine and I won't always be here to prevent things from happening to you. You can't even change for goodness sakes!" He emphasized his point by slamming his hand on the desk. Someone needs to be here to protect you if need be. If that's not understandable then I don't know what is."

Nora huffed, wanting to continue arguing, hating the fact that he had a point. She just didn't want him to have the upper hand.

"Now, Tifa is an excellent fighter and has honed skills in martial arts and combat fighting. Along with that, she is also quite remarkable at fighting in her wolfen form. I have instructed her to keep an eye on you and to also teach you some basic self defense moves."
