"Thankyou, but she's better, she's just in that recovering stage," I said. "Aww, wish she could've came," she said. "Oh, she's here" I snickered.
"Now you know, she needs to be resting somewhere, she can't be running around with those kids" she argued. "I know, but she's been bored in the house for a week. It's driving her crazy" I explained. "Well, I'm going to get me some food," I said getting up. I walked near the buffet area looking at the selection. I couldn't wait to stuff my food. To the corner of my eye, I saw Kamaya, she glanced at me not saying anything and I'm glad it was that way. I struggled to grab my plate. I looked around to see if I could get some help. "Dreux" I called. He stopped talking walking near me. "Here," I said handing Jace to him. "Damn, just like that" he laughed taking him. "I just need to make my plate" I said. "Yeah, I'm America's favorite uncle if anything goes down you let me know," he said talking to him. I really liked Dreux he's like that cool homeboy/ brother you never had. "Clown" I joked placing some chicken and macaroni on my plate. "Where's your mom, I was looking for her? I asked
"Taking her sweet time like usual" he chuckled. "I understand" I laughed walking back to the table as he followed me. "Thank you" I said sitting back down. He handed me Jace back but I felt the tension between him and Mia. Mia rolled her eyes looking to the side. While Druex ignored her walking off. "Dumbass" she scoffed. I took a bite of my food not wanting to be in there business. "You okay? I asked.
"Girl, I'm fine. He's just being an asshole right now and I don't have the time" she scoffed. I knew she wasn't alright, I know the feeling of trying to act like everything is okay. "Hand me him, so you can eat," she said. I gladly handed him to her happy that I can eat for a second. She smiled playing with him. I can say that Mia was the only woman that was nice to me besides Ms. Monica. "So how is it working for Ricky? She asked.
