Chapter twenty two

Oh. I'm actually surprised with her reply but I do know what she means with the grudge part because what happened between them is now in the past and I personally don't think it's fair on Wolf, Ted or Harlow to see or hear them argue.

Aribella's P.O.V

Jade and Harlow have been here for about ten minutes. I'm still upstairs the boys are still having their nap, I can hear Justin and Jade's speaking downstairs.

My outfit today is so simple today, one of Justin's tshirts with shorts underneath and a pair of frilly socks. I stood up from the bed and made my way downstairs.

Harlow was happily eating some fruit as I entered the kitchen and yes it was awkward but I just walked in and made my self a coffee.

"Anyone else want one?" I asked, well I have the effort I guess.

"Yes please, two sugars please" Jade piped up and I just nodded my head and grabbed another mug.

I still haven't adjusted to her being back here and back in our lives and I'm not gonna lie it's hard to see her and Justin talking but like I know he's my man but it's just weird seeing him all pally with another woman.

I placed Jade's coffee infront of her, I even threw in a cookie, how kind am I?.

"Thankyou" she said with a warm smile on her face.

"You're welcome, erm Jade I was wondering if you would like to go for a quick late lunch with me so we can erm...talk?"

She was a little taken back with my offer but then again so was I.

"Yeah sure, it will be good to try and clear the air"

"wait..who's gonna watch the kids?" Justin said quite worried.

"You!" Me and Jade said at the same time which we giggled to.

Me and Jade are currently in SugarFish, we haven't been here long and it's a little awkward. We have ordered our food and drink so that was out of the way.

Getting in here was a right game with the paps. They were so shocked that me and Jade are out together and were civil.

"So..." Jade said and as soon as she said it it was an instant regret.

"Look I really don't want to fight anymore. I'm tired of it, I'm nearly 23 and you're 24 now, we are too old to hold a stupid grudge against eachother. I know it's going to be hard for me to get used to Harlow being around and the fact that Justin has another child which isn't mine but I'm up for the challenge. I want to get to know Harlow, if you'll let me". I looked at her and this time I truly meant every word I said, I'm done arguing with her, life is too short.

Jade wiped a tear from underneath her eye, gosh I didn't mean to make her cry.

"Oh I'm sorry-"

"No no it's fine. I'm just happy that you don't want to fight anymore more because I feel the same. I'm sorry I didn't tell you and Justin about Harlow but I was so scared I would break your family up because I see in the media and on social media and you all so perfect. I really wanted to drop on your door step with her but I knew I couldn't do that. Harlow and Justin's bond is beautiful to see and their bond is just like the one he has with Wolf and Teddy. I'm happy we have cleared the air and of course you can get to know Harlow, you are her step mom after all"

"I'm going go Tiana's birthday party tonight, its her 23rd. A lot of our friends are going to be there and I'd like you to come"

"Well I don't have anyone to have Harlow"

"The boys are going to Grandma Pattie's tonight, she'd love to have her other grandchild come along"

"Won't Tiana mind? Me being there?"

"Not at all, she's my bestfriend she will understand. She will be happy we are finally friends and I think she will be happy you've come"

Lunch with Jade was lovely and I'm thrilled we are friends and so is Justin. Obviously its jot just an instant thing like we are going to have to build a whole new friendship but I'm excited for it.

I'll let you guys into what happened at Tiana's birthday party soon because it was by far one of the best parties I've ever been to but thats for a different day.

I'm currently in bed nearly dying with a bad hangover, Justin is out getting me some greasy fatty foods, he is a saint.

Its my birthday very soon and I have a big surprise for my fans, but you'll have to wait.

"Babe?" I heard the door slam which made my head feel like it exploded. Thanks Justin.

"I'm here..." I said barely speaking.

Here's to a lovely day I have a head of me.

Justin please don't piss me off... thanks hun.

Sorry its this chapter is short and shit but i wanted to put a quick chapter up because today is One Year since I started Only You. Thankyou to everyone that has been reading. New chapter is on the way, love you guys.
