Jimin| Pointless

Jimin walked up to us and smiled warmly, making (B/F/N) blush under his gaze.

"Hi (B/F/N), Bluebell needs food? I can go fetch that for you," He offered.

"T-thank you," she stammered. Jimin smiled and her then walked to the rabbit section.

You heard your friend sigh next to you, dreamily gazing into space.

"You have no idea how lucky you are that you get to see him everyday," She told you wistfully.

"Oh yeah, super lucky," You said sarcastically while rolling your eyes.

"No, really. He's so handsome."

You laughed a little and patted her shoulder.

"Maybe you two should get together?"

Her eyes widened and she looked up at you in shock. Behind her large eyes you thought you saw a glimmer of hope.

"Alright, I found it," Jimin informed (B/F/N), returning and handing her the food. "You can pay (Y/N) at the register. She might just give you a discount," He added with a wink.

You thought (B/F/N) was going to pass out. She was so red.

After she had paid and shyly waved goodbye to Jimin, she leaned over the counter close to you.

"I'll text you later," She whispered, then made her way out the door.

"Bye!" You called out with a grin. You loved your friend, the two of you had been close since childhood. You couldn't wait to get off work, kick off your shoes and text her later.

"I don't see why you don't just adopt Nemo, you two obviously love each other a lot," Jimin casually asked, walking behind the counter with you.

"I already told you, a lady was interested in him and stressed the fact that she would come back some time this week. I thought about adopting him before, but of course I can't deny a customer who has interest in him."

Jimin rolled his eyes.

"You do too much for other people, you have to start thinking about your own happiness. At least a little bit," He scolded.

"Whatever."

"OK OK, we're both off tomorrow though right? There's this movie I really want to see SOOOO bad, but I don't want to go by myself. Do you want to go with me?" He asked, crossing his fingers in hopes that you would agree.

"Sure, I don't think I'm doing anything."

Jimin smiled warmly.

"It's been awhile since we've hung out outside work. I look forward to it. I'll text you later about it, OK?"

You nodded then checked your watch, seeing that your shift was over.

"Well, it's about that that time. I'll talk to you later Jimin," You told him, grabbing your bag in preparation to leave. Jimin suddenly stopped you, stepping in front of you so you couldn't pass.

"Hug?" He asked, his arms spread wide, waiting to embrace you.

"You're so lucky, he's so handsome," You heard (B/F/N)'s words echo in your head.

You rejected him, instead flicking him in the head.

"Hey!" he protested, and pinched your arm.

You shoved him and ran out the door laughing, not noticing the way he was looking at you as you left.

You happily made yourself dinner, humming to yourself as you sat down to watch a movie. Your apartment was the perfect size, but you still felt lonely at times. You thought back to Nemo and could almost picture him there with you on the couch, his purring making you content.
