How You Meet

You have just landed in Dallas Texas for a business trip this week.You are a junior executive at a big insurance company at just the age of 19. You arrived at your hotel ready to relax and prepare for tomorrow because you and a few other junior executives are going to be training other workers for the Dallas location branch of your company. The next day you are all ready dressed business causal ready to head to work. As your headed to the elevator purse and brief case in one hand and phone in the other while you wait patiently for the elevator to come. Then just a few feet away two figures was walking towards your direction. One of them had a Irish accent and the other figure British accent. You didn't turn to see who it was because you didn't want to be weird or rude and glance at them. You just minded your business they finally stand a good few ft away from you but clear to see that they will be catching to elevator with you. Suddenly you get a call coming in from your cousin Amber. You think to yourself that's weird why is she calling you but you decided to answer it anyway. Just when you answer it she screams the Happy Birthday song very loud and you move the phone away from your ear while you giggle & just let them sing you happy birthday.

"HAPPYYYYY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUUU" Amber and 2 other voices you figured your little cousin Khloe was on the line too.

"Thank you guys but you know you are two days early this year " you said while laughing

" Well hey atleast we never forget it . Better early than never" Amber said

" Of course but I really appreciate it I feel the early birthday love" you joke

To talk to her for a few short minutes and finally hang up and said goodbye While locking your phone one of the figures who was standing there with the Irish accent decided to say something to you. You turn your head to acknowledge who it was and you realize it's Niall Horan from One Direction. All you can think to yourself is wow how interesting and crazy you are staying on the same floor as them really quickly.

" Happy early birthday to you" Niall says flashing a smile at you

" Thank you" you say with a smile and a slight giggle.

" How old are you going to be if you don't mind me asking " Niall said trying to strike up conversation but not trying to offend me with the questioned asked

"Just 20 no big deal" you said

" Being 20 is fun I guess but here in America 21 is the best age to be because you can drink here" Niall said

After he said that the elevator finally came and we all stepped in and pushed the ground floor. The elevator took a long time because you guys are on the 18 floor and the elevator is very slow.

" Yeah well that's America for you " you joke and he laughs with you

" I'm Niall by the way" He said as he extends his hand for you to shake

You say your name and you shake his hand and tell him you recognize him and that you are a big fan of him and the band.

" I'm glad now less pressure to talk to you" he said

" Why would you feel pressure" you asked curiously

" Because your really pretty and I didn't want to be awkward I guess " he said shyly but happy to break that first meet awkward tension

" Thank you " you said feeling surprised and flattered that Niall finds you attractive.

" So are you in town for a show?" You asked trying to keep conversation and avoid elevator silence

" Yeah I'm heading to sound check and a meeting right now, I'm meeting up with the other lads............You look like your heading to work , you look lovely by the way" He said still engaging into conversation

" Thank you...yeah I'm just in town for the company I work for" you said and he asked where you were from and the name of your company. You answered all his questions. Finally you guys are about 3 floors away from the ground floor. Niall built up the courage to ask you for your number

" So your birthday is on Friday and I was wondering as a birthday present from me to you if you would like to come to our show on Friday and that way I'd get to see you again before you leave and I leave..." He said

"Umm sure I'd like to come " you giggle feeling surprised yet nervous for some reason and he was making you blush which you felt embarrassed about

" Can I have your number so we can find a time to meet up so I can get you your passes and stuff" he said nervously

You say sure and you give him your phone so he can put his number in and text himself so he can have your number. Finally the elevator opens and the other figure who was silent was his body guard and he was the first to make sure the area was clear and he told me to leave first out I walked out and then Niall walked out. Niall's body guard saw a few paps so he forced Niall to walk straight to the car & I just walked straight to my car nobody thought that me him was together because I walked fast enough and Niall's body guard walked far away to make it look like I was just a regular person just randomly leaving the same building. Nothing snap worthy which was a good thing . You got into your rental car and was thinking to yourself wow I just met Niall Horan , he's a really cool guy & I can't believe he thought I was pretty and he wanted my number. You snapped out of your thoughts when you get a text. You look down and saw it was a text from Niall.

I didn't get the chance to properly hug you goodbye, Sorry about the paps

You smiled and thought to yourself wow what a interesting morning. You finally turned the car on and made your way to work.
