"We helped you and gave you a chance. This is your own fault. Now, stand up." The younger (ish) vigilante replied calmly yet sternly at the same time.

I glanced at Ace. He gave me the "What choice do we have," look. I stood up, having to drag my little feet up. GA went over to Ace and Batman went over to me.

Batman pulled out a pair of small handcuffs.

"Sh**," I muttered not so quietly as I thought I did.

"Language, kid." (Reference anyone?) Green Arrow said as the handcuffs were placed and locked around my wrists.

We walked out of the small room, dubbed "That One Boring Room." The team was in the mission debriefing room with Black Canary. They were unaware of the four of them leaving.

I was completely unaware of where we were. We walked out of what looked like an over-sized garage door. A black van with extremely tinted windows was there. I mean, jeez, I couldn't even see in. On top of the car was an antenna with a green ball on the top of it.

"So cliche guys. Black and green, gawd. Even me and Ace have better style. Which is saying a lot for Ace."

Batman shot her an infamous Batglare as he pushed her into the back of the black van. The door shut and locked, from the outside...

'Wonderful." I mouthed to Ace.

He nodded sarcastically. I heard a chuckle from the Arrow.

There was a window blocking the backseat passengers from the driver and side passenger. Ace grabbed the dagger from his boot. He hit it against the window repeatedly until he managed to make a small break in it.

"Cheap a** glass," I muttered.

I shot Ace a cocky smirk and he shot one back. Batman and GA weren't talking so I started to zone out. How did we really get ourselves into this?

*Flashback*

My hands and feet were tied to a brown, wood chair. I was in a very poorly lit room. There was also another ten-year-old in the room. My soon to be partner/accomplice, Ace. But, I didn't know that yet. He didn't go by Ace yet though. He went by Alec, his real name. And I didn't know that yet either.

We had been taken...cough cough... kidnapped. I started to undo the poorly made knots that held my hands to the chair. Amateurs. I got off the chair in seconds.

"Ya need some help?" I snickered cockily.

He smirked and replied in the same tone, "It would look like that, wouldn't it."

Those were the first words we ever spoke to each other.

I walked over to the chair he was situated on. I knelt down and started to undo the knots.

He stood up and rubbed his wrist after I finished with the knots. I smirked at him and he smirked back. The doorknob turned. I gaped.

"Can you fight?" He asked in a hushed, haste voice.

"I'd be lying if I said no."

The door opened and in walked two adults. One was male with short, crop cut brown hair. The other was female with black hair down to her shoulders.

Alec created a sword and I grabbed a concealed CD. The two adults pulled out guns. They started to shoot. Alec blocked the bullets with his sword as we started to advance towards them. Finally, they ran out of ammo.

"You should really think again before kidnapping. Well. Then again neither of you will ever think again," Ace hissed.

He jabbed his sword into the man's heart. I tossed the CD like a throwing star at the lady's neck. It sliced her neck.

"Olivia," I said politely as I held out my hand.

He shook it, "Alec."

This was our first and only kill.

*End of Flashback*

We were there.
