The Last Time

It was warm and humid the last time we collided,
Your skin was darker than usual.
It was because you worked outside and never wore sunscreen, because who actually wears that?
You were so happy to see me, but maybe that's something I had to tell myself to make this interaction mean something.
Your hot mouth was on mine and I forgot how to breathe, it's like you sucked the life right out of me.
