Your laugh echo is in my head,
It's been so long since I've heard it but for some reason it's stuck in my head.
It's a comforting sound,
Like something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
You turned to me and smile, your eyes squinted behind your thick framed glasses,
Almost disappearing, your dark chocolate eyes laughed almost as loud as the sounds echoing from your mouth and throat.
Your soft pink lips tucked in between your pearly white teeth and all I can think about is kissing you again.
You must've been thinking something similar because next thing I know you're leaning over to kiss me, it's so soft.
I can taste small hints of mint and what I now know is you.
In the moment I was happy because for a moment I fooled myself into thinking that you wanted me just as bad as I wanted you.
I was naive, I didn't realize that you could so easily lie to me like this.
But for a moment all I could think of is your wonderful smile.
