I woke up every early and found my daughter, Riley sleeping beside me. I smiled at her, and admire her features. She might have a lot of features from me, but, she has her mother's beautiful crystal blue eyes. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I went down stairs, and to the kitchen to start making breakfast.

A few minutes later, Riley went down, while she rubbing her eyes with her cute little hands. As she let out a yawn, she sat on the chairs as I placed her breakfast in front.

"Daddy, when are we going to visit mommy?" Riley asked

"Maybe a few miuntes, baby... You have to finish your breakfast first" I said and she nodded

As we were done eating breakfast, I took the plates to the sink, while went to the bedroom to wait for me to take her bath. I finished washing the dishes and jogged upstairs to wash up Riley. Now, I went to the bathroom for me to take my bath.

When me and Riley were both dressed up, I picked her up and went outside to the car. I put Riley on the passenger seat and buckled her up. I jogged back to the driver's seat and started the car.

We drove around Oakland to find a nice flower shop, we finally found one. I exited the car and brought Riley with me. We entered the shop and went to the front desk. The lady looked at me and warmly smiled.

"The usual?" she asked

I nodded, "Yeah... The usual" I said

She gave a bouquet of roses and daffodils, my wife's favorite. I paid for the flowers and went off.

We finally arrived to our destination, and we exited the car. We walked around, trying to find her name. Riley seemed to be excited to her, because she spotted her name and ran towards it and I followed her.

"Hi, mommy!" Riley happily said

In front of us was her, her tomb, Riley's mom, my wife. Rebecca. She died because of a car crash. I couldn't even believe it. She was the love and the light of our lives, and she would died that.

I carefully placed the bouquet in front of her tomb as I caress the stone and read:

Rebecca Angeline Curry

A great wife, mother, and daughter

Will always be remembered...

Born: December 15, 1990
Died: March 14, 2018

I smiled softly and bit my lower lip, as I started crying. Riley seemed to notice, she took my hand away from the stone and she placed her small hands on my cheeks and wiped away the tears. I can tell she was about to cry too, she was just trying not to.

"P--please daddy, d--don't cry... Mo--mommy doesn't like that, right? " she whispered

I took her hands, "I--I know baby, but, daddy h--has  to cry... He would cry for mommy... And, daddy is showing mommy that he loves her sooo much... That's why when you're crying, baby, you love someone. You--you're showing that person tha--that your strong... Okay?" I whispered

She slowly nodded, "Y--yes daddy..." she said

I smiled, "Now, let's say goodbye to mommy..."

I picked her up and she faced the tomb, "Bye mommy, sleep well..." she waved her little hand

"Bye baby, I love you..." I said and we went off

Before we enter the car, we felt a cold gush of wind beside us and I smiled.

"What are you smiling, daddy?" Riley questioned

"That's mommy hugging us, baby..." I answered and she nodded

I can't believe I can be this emotional😭😭. I literally (almost) cried at this story... When I was in the part where Riley was wiping Steph's tears, I was listening to "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran, which is a bad idea. But, anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and I'll update soon, bye crying reader😭😭😭

(PS: If you cried, leave it in the comment section⬇)
