Germany x Unmotivated!Reader: Not Lazy

"Are you seriously still in bed?" Ludwig asked, his arms folded as he glared down at you in disappointment. "It's almost 11am! Get up! You missed training with Feliciano and Kiku, but we can go out again as soon as we eat lunch."

"I'm sorry, Ludwig," you murmured, slightly regretting the decision to give the German a key to your house. "I just can't make myself get up today."

"Well if you aren't up and ready to leave, which includes having eaten lunch, by 11:40 I am going to dump ice water on you and your bed."

    "Okay."

Ludwig stared at you, your lack of care about getting ice water dumped onto you and making everything on your bed soaking wet and freezing concerning him.

    "'Okay'?" he asked. "Just 'okay'?"

"Yeah," you mumbled, rolling over onto your other side to give him your back.

Ludwig decided to leave you alone for the time being, and went on his way to make lunch in your small kitchen. He was going to make one your favorite meals, however unhealthy, in hopes that it would entice you get up. He had left your bedroom door wide open as he left so the smell could waft into your room and coax you into coming into the kitchen.

It's 11:30 and she still hasn't gotten up, Ludwig thought. What is she doing? Is she really lazier than that cursed Italian?

Ludwig, tired of waiting, went outside to find a clean bucket. After finding one, he filled it up halfway with sink water, then added a few ice cubes to help cool it.

Germany entered your room, but froze at the sound he heard. Slowly the bucket was placed on the (carpet/tile), and Ludwig quietly made his way to the bed. Soft sobs and gasps could be heard from underneath the thick blanket, and Ludwig became extememly concerned.

    "(Name)?"

You froze, and covered your mouth, hoping to minimize the sound.

"Are you--? No, why are you crying? Are you hurt?"

"No," you croaked out. "I just... I don't really know. I just feel like crying. I'm sad and I don't know why. I don't feel like doing anything. I don't even feel like eating or going to the bathroom, though I badly need to do both."

"That... That is not good," Ludwig whispered, voice full of concern. "Here, sit up. You have got to go about the day regardless."

"Yeah, I know, you're right." Sighing you sat up and slowly crawled out of bed.

"Good. Now, come on, lunch is waiting. But go use the bathroom first."

You followed Ludwig out of your bedroom and went to the restroom to relieve yourself before going into the kitchen. Ludwig had already eaten, so he was just sitting patiently in one of the kitchen chairs while you heated up some of the food made to eat.

"I know you don't feel like doing anything," Ludwig began, "but you need to exercise. It will not only help you stay in good shape, but it should help you feel a little less down. Besides... What if an infestation of mutated (plural of most feared creature) happens? You'll need to be able to run fast and for long periods of time."

"Eh," you mumbled after a moment if silence, shrugging. "If that happens I'll manage."

With a sigh Ludwig face-palmed, earning a soft chuckle from you.
