Days had passed and it's our last day here at Cotabato. I happily embrace the cold breeze of the wind rushing through my skin. We arrive here in Lake Sebu at 6 am dahil madami kaming gagawin activities today including the Green Archers.

"Woah, ang ganda dito!" sabi ni Ate Kianna and I couldn't help but to agree with her. "Sabi nila may seven falls daw dito eh." Ate Arriane look at the map that she was holding as well as the itinerary for this day.

"At kasama ang zipline sa mga rides sa survival courses natin. OMG!" dagdag niya at parang tumigil bigla ang mundo ko.

No way.

I gulped hard at parang lumabas ang malalamig na pawis sa katawan ko. "Hindi ako sasakay diyan," I muttered.

Bigla naman sumingit sa usapan si Ate Denise-isa sa mga guide namin dito. "Are you afraid of the heights?" She asked and I slowly nod my head as a response.

Ever since when I was a child, my parents wouldn't allow me to try those kind of rides-including the ferris wheel kaya eversince, I'm afraid of heights. Instead of conquering my fears, iniiwasan ko sila. Every time I'll ride the ferris wheel, hindi ako tumitingin sa baba. I always close my eyes kapag sumasakay doon, kahit kasama ko si Josh. I love the way it goes round but I hate looking at the grounds.

"You know, I see myself in you back when I was in highschool." sabi ni Ate Denise at napatingin ako sa kanya. "I'm also afraid of heights at never akong sumakay sa mga ganyan dahil feeling ko mahuhulog ako." sabi niya pa.

"Then one time, our school had an educational trip tapos may isa kaming pinuntahan na park. May zipline din doon, hindi siya kataasan unlike this one pero masasabi kong dahil doon na-conquer ko yung fear ko sa heights. At first, iniyakan ko muna iyon at nagdasal muna sa mga santong kilala ko para gabayan ako. Then, when my turn came-mas lalo akong umiyak. I had no choice dahil yun lang ang paraan para makapunta ka sa kabilang dako ng park," pagku-kwento niya at napangiti ako. Kaya ko din kaya?

"I breathe out at inilabas ko lahat ng kaba ko. I wore the harness and prayed to God na siya na ang bahala sa akin all throughout the ride. And guess what? I did it, Michelle. You just gotta take the risk." she said.

Para akong nabunutan ng tinik sa kwento ni Ate Denise pero hindi pa rin maiiwasan ang pangamba at takot na nararamdaman ko.

"Okay guys, we'll go to the restaurant muna to have breakfast together bago natin sisimulan ang mga activities today." sabi ni Ate Laura-isa din sa mga guide kagaya ni Ate Denise.

Pumasok kami sa isang Filipino restaurant. Nakahanda na ang buffet doon at kami nalang ang inaantay. Most of the Green Archers were already done eating their breakfast dahil mas pinili muna namin magpahuli sa biyahe.

"Good morning guys!" masiglang bati ni Brent habang winagayway niya ang table napkin.

"Kain na kayo." Coach Ramil said at umupo sa pinakaunahang chair sa long table naming mga Lady Spikers.

"Coach, magt-try din kayo mamaya ng zipline?" Ate Kianna asked. "Oo naman, di ko palalagpasin yun noh!" sabi naman ni Coach at tumawa kami.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Ate May at naramdaman kong may tumapik sa akin. Napatingin ako, at nakita kong si Ricci na naka-ngisi.
